Could you guys imagine if that's the plot we had for The Last, a messed up Evil Future Naruto causing Mayhem and Present Day Naruto has to do whatever it takes in his time to save the future.  One yes it would be a hell of a lot better than this sh*tty plot line we got, but at least I would've been like Son of a b*tch they went this far with the last, No we're not getting no random ass villain for this movie we get evil future Naruto. I'm sure that would just speak volumes.

Or a plot similar to Face/Off where Naruto and Sasuke switch faces.

I wouldn't really consider Sakura's confession a "failfession". I really don't see what else Kishi could have done to convey it in a more convincing manner. To me the majority of the backlash was just business as usual. A large part of the fandom hates Sakura and so they will use any excuse to bash her. 

 

I'm not saying that Sakura's actions were 100% right. She could have handled the situation better. She tried to put Naruto well being before herself and she was even willing to throw away her and Naruto's friendship. To be honest I see it as one of her best moments in the entire series.

Kishi had a whole movie to try and establish a normal connection between Naruto and Hinata, yet he decided to prove once again, that nH could not happen, without someone else paying the price, to force them into a relationship. Instead of having Naruto and Hinata spend time together in the village and get to know each other, he decided to turn Naruto into a brat, that whines when his toy gets taken away, even when he's not playing with it. FFS, they're battling aliens on the kittening moon and yet we'e supposed to believe this kitten was meant to happen? Naruto could have been paired up with anyone else, male or female, and it would have made more sense than nH.

 

In terms of Ss, Kishi should be banned from drawing manga again, for canonizing such a sick relationship. He never once showed that Sasuke had a positive effect on Sakura, ever. It was Naruto, who inspired her, Naruto who helped her become determined to get strong, Naruto, who stuck up for her, when she couldn't do it herself, and Naruto, who she supported a majority of them manga. Yet he puts her, with the person, who was faster to insult and try to kill her, than he was to praise her. Throughout the entire part two, Sasuke didn't even treat Sakura like a decent kittening human being and yet, Kishi had the gall to say Sakura would be terrible for wanting better?

With everything that's happened, he has only proved to non-canon ships and even neutrals, that NS was the logical pairing, NS should have happened, and that NS, will always be the better choice.

The fact kishi doesn't bother to solve it in the manga is what make it worse.
I always expect it will be brought up in naruto confession, because how big it has to do with naruto poal.

Oh the entire poal scene is completely ruined by the Last because of the "rivalry with Sasuke" thing. I guess he never really understood her and was just trying to interfere with her love for god knows what. That's really depressing when you think about it.

yeah...but that is what sakura thinks, and justifies her leaving him.. and him going to hinata.

Actually, even with this ending, I will always laugh at hinata's miserable fate. She was the rebound xD. Her clan saw her as a second to first neji and then hanabi, she never got around to fulfilling neji's eish, and became a housewife.. instead of the clan leader she was meant to be.

It was simply retconned out of existence, just like the rest of the NS relationship. Still, Kishi can't change what he himself has already written. NS was there and it was real. No amount of retconning will ever change that.

I asked this question yesterday.I was told that this was sakura's view...

so, it is entirely possible that she tried to justify her feelings for sasuke and push naruto away towards hinata using this godawful line.

This dialogue not only degrades and trivialize naruto's but also jiraiya's unconditional love.
