You are making me angry with your accusations, I'm reading other forum comments at the same time I'm reading this one, I also want to know others view not only the NS fan's view. It's called reality check that is a lot better than close minded or denial.

Hey, I'm at work. Just catching updates. Anyone saw the last video from tokyokit. You guys will like it more. I admit, that was cute in the end. I would ask questions because there are more stuff to cover, mainly the interaction. If you ask me, the beginning was meant to be them being crap. By the end, everything is lesson learned. Sakura wants no parents and naruto wants parents. Sakura knows now that having parents is a great thing, because it will only get lonely after time pass by. Naruto is happy to have parents, but if it's fake, then he has to let it go, which is why is harder for him to accept. All in all, I need more in depth.

I'm sure he understands her, but for a lot of people, having her say that doesn't seem consistent with her character. A lot of people have mentioned this, not just the pairing fans.

I'm sure he understands her, but for a lot of people, having her say that doesn't seem consistent with her character...

obviously I disagree I think it is exactly the thing she would say...Sakura has always been prone to outbursts of emotion... this time it is directed towards Naruto and his comment about her parents.

context is everything in this case until I see a clip I will stand by what I believe

Yeah, I'm not that bothered by it either. It's just a throwaway line to me. People are blowing their top over it without seeing the scene. I absolutely guarantee when seen in the context of the scene it will come across as merely something stupid said in total frustration without really meaning it. Sounds like Naruto does the same thing to Iruka and Teuchi, and even worse to Minato and Kushina.

It's kind of bashy to just sit there and hate on Sakura for one comment said in total frustration that she didn't even really mean.

I have to admit, that line bothered me, too. It wasn't that she was being a little bratty - all teenagers are - it's just that mentioning Sasuke was so random and out of character, because that's the last person who would understand her. She knows that. Or, should.

But I guess, if Naruto is being jerky in the beginning, too, then it's not as bad. As long as they're being jerks together. xD And they'll get character development, that's good.

Naruto:Want to go on a date, Sakura?
Sakura:We just had the longest date ever!
Naruto:That was a date?! The wasn't a date!

Yes, some people dont get it that sakura's comment was legit on context of the movie, because this sakura it's not the same as on the canon she will learn what parents are, and understand how naruto feels it's a message from kishimoto to the children and teenagers, naruto act the same way with iruka and sakura act the same with her parents.
At the end both learn their lessons, sakura learns to respect her parents and naruto to be more kind to iruka.

I don't want to repeat myself, but it isn't the fact that she's angry with her parents that is out-of-character; it's the fact that somehow she thinks Sasuke would also have hated his parents. You know, considering he's planning mass genocide on the village that killed them. Someone mentioned earlier that anyone else -- say, Ino -- would be a better example.

That's confirmed. There's a video that explains it. Also, everyone who saw the movie said that he trolled her because he's a pure playboy and he didn't have that much screen time. In fact, what you see in trailers is all you get. Mainly 90%. No joke. Konoha nins are only in act 1. After that, it's all about Naruto, Sakura, and Naruto's parents.

Yeah, Kishimoto is taking some artistic liberties here. I can't imagine Naruto being upset at Iruka either. My comment, however, was directed at the commentors who are insisting that both of them are in character.

Wasn't Sakura comments about Sasuke was post to be a reality check because she got trolled by Sasuke later in the movie.
