I'm sure many of you have seen Death Note, and I was rewatching a few episodes earlier mainly the ones between Light and Misa.  I'm not gonna lie I ship them, but I was just curious what do you think is worse between SasuSaku and Light x Misa cause I can kinda tell Light doesn't care about her, but at the same time I see moments where he does idk it's kinda confusing... 

 

Jus wondering What do you think is worse SasuSaku or LightXMisa?

yep SS never existed except in peoples heads. the story was entirely pointed to show that Sakura was moving away from Sasuke and towards Naruto. It was only at the end that She was rubberbanded back to Sasuke. Hell Sasuke wasnt evne shown to change his feelings towards her.

I do ship Light x Misa as well but that whole relationship is really like the Harley x Joker a kittened up mess. They are pretty toxic for each other and feed off the other for their goals to succeed. I think at times he's can care about Misa like, for example, when he lost his abilities after loosing the Death Note. And Joker has shown he does also care about Harley in his own weird ass way.

However, Sasuke never once showed any hint of feelings towards Sakura. It's horrible that this paring even became canon he never showed any hints to a change of his heart after the time skip. In fact he only ever reacted to a fan girl in a way to show he was nervous was when Karin was acting pervy towards him. Even though I still think Sasuke x Karin is shown as a simi abusive paring in canon it made more sense than Sasuke x Sakura.

I see Saskue x Karin as I do Joker x Harley a toxic relationship which each of them feeding off each other to further strengthen their goals.

With Sasuke x Sakura I just see nothing but a one side pathetic relationship.

I just check the reception among of the Boruto manga audience (or whats left of the Naruto fandom). Excluding the hardcore fans and shippers, I starting to see people are complaining how munch of a rehash and non creative write the Boruto manga really is. This also is quite a concern for my Naruto AU concept novel that I just finished. I never thought how much a bane the "whole" rehashing process really is until now. Since my book is based of Naruto, NS readers want to find out how NS happened, they will have to relive the plot horrors of SasuSaku once again, and this time its three times darker than Kishi's version. And plots like the Akatsuki Arc and Naruto versus Sasuke battle arc, so and so.

 

Now its something that the Boruto manga and my story share in common. One thing I can guarantee  100% is that the family bonds in my story completely tops the chapter 700 and beyond. 

 

 

 

And about Sakura moving on from Sasuke, no doubt it was so post to happen and I believe that there was so post to be a rivalry between Naruto and Lee for Sakura's heart. It was showcase over the course of the manga that Lee perhaps thought Naruto held Sakura's heart. It's the reason why Lee saw Naruto as a rival even though he schooled Naruto before the preliminaries (just before he spar with Sasuke). This is what the team seven love triangle was so post to evolve over the duration of the manga. Popularity just kills it.

The major snag is the land of iron arc. Sasukes actions there take a nasty turn for the dark and this puts the relationship in jeopardy But in much the same way Narutos attack on Sakura didnt hurt their realtionship Sasukes with Karin can recover from it.

It's largely because, at least when it comes to anime/manga/LNs or, sadly, even real life sometimes, a number of people just have (super) unrealistic expectations of pairings. They seem to expect the (usually just their OTP) to have some sort of perfect, Disney-like relationship where they never "truly" fight (basically something happens and they just laugh it off or clearly aren't serious if they do "fight"), every day is sunshine and rainbows where they always get along, not a single bump in the road of the relationship, so if there does end up being an actual (small) bump in the road in the progress of a relationship, to those people, it's like a catastrophic failure of all systems and they need to abandon ship without considering that the damage is minimal and can be quickly/easily repaired or, in the case of larger damage ala Sasuke with Karin with stabbing through her to get Danzo, that you can at least keep the ship afloat until the repairs are done..

Hmm I didn't bother looking at it that way do Light x Misa. I think that really cleared up the confusion I was having when it came to shipping them and comparing them to SasuSaku.




So here's a question I wanna get everyone's opinion on. what's the worst arc between The FullBring from Bleach and Five KAGE Summit from Naruto?

Kage Summit Arc was an setup arc that would lead to massive destruction...and I don't mean the war.

Fullbringer Arc was an arc of rebound that felt like filler and often considered the end of Bleach being decent. Then again, same can be said for Kage Summit.

That's were the big change in Kishi's staff was made after Yahagi left. Who thought it was a good idea to suggest to kishi that Hinata would make a better heroine. Who came up with the war arc? Who thought it was a better idea to focus more on the Uchihas? Who thought the character assassinations was a good idea? No matter which staff of editors and assistants he works with, history shows that he's a puppet to his them. He's lucky that he even started off with Yahagi. I can't seriously see his original cooking manga that Naruto was so post to be to surpass Soma

I think the whole sexism was not too big of an issue when he was under Yahagi's wing. 

 

Yes. There is still flaws in Yahaga's writing, be we would probably not have the war arc if Yahagi remained with Kishi throughout the manga if he declined the promotion. And he would have encourage Kishi not to listen to antis and shipper and just focus on creating a productive story. Too bad for us readers.

the kage summit arc was like all the arcs in that story a case of blown opportunity.

 

its created several potential threads that could have lead to great dramatic resolutions but all of them were blown by the wayside.

I miss the psychotic Sasuke who was gonna burn the whole village to the ground from the Kage Summit... that seemed far more in character then his War Arc persona that decided to be Hokage to initiate a revolution.

I've always said this, but it could've been one of two choices either when he reunites with Sasuke at Orochimaru's hideout, or at The 5 Kage Summit.

It's the right spot, just very convenient of them being that close and know the location perfectly in the middle of deserted area.
