It seemed more like a Gray x Juvina moment this week lol but jokes aside yes. I’m just annoyed that it took them a sequel for proper progression

Better late than never lol.  Now I just want to see when Natsu and Lucy will address the elephant in the room properly.

So has anyone read the latest chapter (37) of 100 Year Quest?

Yup, it was interesting to see Natsu's subconscious ideal of Heaven and that Hiro does lightly touch upon whatever happened to Zeref and Mavis' souls following their appearance in Chapter 545. I'm wondering if Natsu may use Thought Projection Magic as a means to possibly cleanse his friends of Touka's influence.

Speaking of which, I hope Lucy wasn't brainwashed by Lisanna.

It really was, and one of things that really satisfied me with the Natsu's ideal vision of heaven was the conversation he had with Zeref.  The reason I bring that up is because their entire relationship didn't really end off on a satisfying note in the original series especially when you consider the build up that Hiro had pushed once we found out they were brothers. When you see that resolution after their final fight it made that entire subplot extremely underwhelming, and I think Hiro did a nice job caping off their bond this way. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

You know I could actually see that playing a part when it comes to the white mage's influence on the Fairy Tail Guild, and this may be me but Lucy being brainwashed by Lisanna could lead to an interesting situation after Natsu deals with Wraith. 

 

What's been your thoughts on 100 Years Quest so far?  

 

for me I feel like it's Hiro's way of making up for how the Alavarez arc turned out.

He accept Zerefs his brother and their bond goes on a satisfying note. Which is enough for me in terms of the build up Hiro has put since he showed up on Tenrou Island.

That's good zeref seemed like he was a good brother before he lost his family and got cursed it's why I like zeref.

A lot more believable than Sasuke and Itachi, or dare I say Naruto and Sasukes throughout the entire Naruto series.

Oh definitely better than those two awful excuses of brothers especially Naruto and Sasuke since they were never shown as friends, hell Natsu and gray are better friends than Naruto and Sasuke Hiro showed natsu and gray being friends sure they butt heads but there moments other than that, Naruto and Sasuke don't have that, Naruto and garra had a better friendship.

For sure, Id consider checking out 100 Year Quest, its been doing one hell of a great job thus far especially when it comes to diving into the lore of the series itself.

It's been a great continuation of the series so far.   Touka is a compelling antagonist and her capabilities actually justify the in-story statements that compare her to Zeref. The Dragon Eaters have also proven to be quite formidable.  I'm also curious to see if Natsu's recent transformation and behavior in his fight with the Water Dragon God may be an indication that E.N.D.'s influence still exists within him.

Okay, there's been quite a few twists in this chapter.   It turns out Touka was actually in love with *Happy* this entire time, not Natsu. She just mistook his name for Natsu and thought he was the one who saved her.  Also, she's an Exceed that's been disguising herself as a human. Carla is not going to be pleased lol.  We also got some teasing of NaLu after Cana brought up Touka's (mistaken) crush on Natsu to Lucy, and her and Juvia start teasing her about it, with Lucy blushing up a storm.  Sadly, it seems like Lucy didn't get the romantic meaning behind Natsu's statement when he said they'd be together forever, and thinks he isn't interested in a relationship (which Hiro did say would be a possibility on Twitter; to think Lucy would be the dense one in this instance  ).  Oh well, it just means more room for NaLu development that gives Natsu the chance to be more direct about his feelings.

 

And I'm relieved and excited that Hiro has brought back to light the fact that Erza is half-dragon, and we'll get to see what she can do with that power in the next chapter.

I'm also interested about the existence of a third world such as Elentir and wonder what the WW's true objective was in coming specifically to Earthland.

Well I’m only disappointed it was Edolas and not the main universes couples lol but still happy

On the plus side if nastu and Lucy still don't get together by the end of the series, there is at least on universe that they are. Though I saw in a comment for the chapter that Hiro is rumoured to plan a spin off with NaLu and the other fairy tail couples after Eden zero and 100 year quest, though I can't tell if the user was telling the truth or not.

Shush kishimoto did the parallel universe for naruto, might of at least saved us the trouble of only being stuck with the mess that is boruto.

You don't have worry about that. Mashima stated that he wanted to give NaLu and the other couples proper development in FT 100 Quest and he admitted himself that he's a huge NaLu fan on his Twitter. As for the spin-off, he stated in an interview last week that he would do a Fairy Tail Next Generation after Edens Zero and FT100Q if ther's enough fan demand.
