I don't mind since it has been established. Bleach never cared but now all the sudden, it does. What's worse is that they build it but never pay more attention to it after that. So it's pretty weak all in all.FT doesn't even count, cause it'll obviously end with tons of pairings and kids.... oh God.
Imo, FT is the best example of what's wrong with shonen mangas (and shojos too) nowadays: money, lame stories, and fanservice.

Lol I'm about the same. The ending looks much better than Kikittenmotos even though the plot is out the window. Can't expect anything less from Shonen Flop:

As I non-reader of Bleach for some reason I want to give my two cents on this ending. Now again I mention I haven't read the manga; tried to get into it but couldn't, so in a way I'm talking out of my arse. Now I don't know which of these two pairing had development or the most development (seen some posts on tumblr and it's a mix so don't know). But just by looking at the end chapter it's already miles ahead of Naruto's so called ending. Just in the pairings department because again I know nothing about the story in bleach.
We see those characters together. The readers were not left with a "Go watch the movie you morons" and witnessing their favorite characters being assassinated.
Oh and these kids actually look human. Not like the Chucky doll and an actual zombie from that other thing that must not be named.
Oh and almost forgot

At least Orihime is better than Hinata.
Lol please stop. One Piece sets records every time a volume comes out. BnHA performs well, but no where near the level OP performs. There is no conspiricy by SJ to hold OP on top at the expense of BnHA, OP is just that good. One Piece delivers on the hype and more. BnHA is not as popular as one piece, nor is it as good. The assumption, based on nothing btw, that SJ is forcing everything to take a backseat to OP is beyond absurd.Be honest with me, how many times have MHA topped OP in the TOC ranks now?? A lot. By all indications, MHA is the "it" manga now. The fact it's consistently topped OP more times than most manga in Jump could hope for should be a loud wail of fans demanding OP to hand over the baton. That should be a clear message for Jump to push MHA much, much more.
The reason an anime exists is to boost manga sales. If they needed a good reason to phase out OP, it would be the manga sales. Except for one problem: The initial season hasn't boosted the manga sales by much, when it should be higher than that. The reason is obvious, due to the materials it covered, of course it wouldn't boost the sales.
During pre-production, it should've been obvious there's too little material that can be covered for the first season. If they were serious about pushing the anime, they would've made sure it would cover enough content to hook the viewers to buy the manga. Instead, they ended up being short-sighted and rushed the production. Now either this is intentional or not, I cannot say. But given their track record, I am of the belief it was.
One last thing, I hate OP due to its over-hype. If you asked me a manga well worth its hype, it's FMA. For me, it is the pinnacle of shonen story-telling. That, and Rurouni Kenshin. That is not to say OP is terrible. Far from it. It's very good, but it does not justify the hype fans make it out for.

It's about everything, really. Everyone knew that bleach was ending, and then out of no where, as we get to the final fight, it's announced that bleach would be ending in 5 chapter. The final fight was basically cut out and there were a lot of plot holes, and it was extremely rushed and terribly done. In terms of the ships, Ichigo has never once reciprocated anything towards Orihime, and Rukia never reciprocated anything to Renji. Then out of no where, they're all thrown together. There was no mention of what happened to major characters, and major plot holes. Can someone explain the mess? I don't get it. Is it about shipping or plot?

Plot and shipping development's out the window, but the characters and children look a lot better than Naruto's

Pairings were half baked but Plot was absolutely horrendous. Anybody who points out that its "at least better ending than Naruto." Needs to recognize that they're just insulting Naruto rather than complimenting Bleach.
Yes, that's the point. Because the ending to Naruto was awful to horrendous offensive and insulting. This is at best OK or meh. Kubo was obviously told to wrap Bleach up the second they saw he was getting close to the final boss that quincy king. So he had to cut the fight really short. So he could instead have two epilogue chapters he wanted to finish his story.

This ending was bad but Naruto has a different type of bad.

In essence, it isn't exactly the Naruto ending, but it runs close.
Wasn't the anime cancelled and then the manga? At least that's the way I understood it, if that was the case then the writer had no reason to even put some effort into it.

Poor Ichigo though, he got narutofied with a bad hairstyle and everything. At least they had pretty kids that don't look like mutants.

It was the sort of kitten ending one could expect from Bleach, but least the pairings made sense! Even Kubo got that right.

These pairings actually had development (albeit lackluster and nothing like Naruto's). We knew Orihime was in love with Ichigo and we've seen plenty of positive and tender moments shared between Ichigo and Orihime. Plus, the dynamic between Ichigo and Rukia was dead after the Soul Society Arc. After that, Rukia started exclusively getting tagged with Renji. They were always together. Then you have that moment Renji thanking Ichigo for getting him and Rukia "back together." So it makes sense. Kudos to Kubo for at least having the sense to get the pairings right, despite the rest of manga (or everything post-soul-society arc) being kitten!
