On a side topic: having in mind that RtN was apparently designed to make Kishi share ideas that would not appear in the manga, is it possible that the same happened with the Uniqlo OVA and that said video was, in fact, the true ending?

Damn that Pierrot studio. The latest reviews are two consecutive 5 star reviews that don't even address the positives and negatives of the film in a thorough and impartial manner.

 

The second one is being directed towards the people criticising the film instead of the film itself. They're asking why the film is being disregarded so harshly - arguing that it's the life story of Naruto to adulthood and that the film was deeply moving for them without addressing how it gave that impression or how it butchered Naruto's character and discarded everyone else for the sake of giving Hinata the spotlight in what is supposed to be the final outing for the original cast.

 

The top review doesn't even try to conceal its promotional bias. It's just a single sentence proclaiming that the The Last is the best film in the franchise.

It explains why the selfies on their weeding are crap and everyone are looking like aliens   . But then again Hinata is an parring fodder alien herself  so its self explanatory .

Funny to think that we used to be the ones with a "clear future" than the rest and then BAMWHAM KAPOW.

Ever since those "spoilers" of NH spawns started to pop out everywhere i was traumatized until now.

 

I too, still see a lot of Naruto clips and right now its just making me sad. like do you also experience watching Naruto (the character) in old episodes and just stare blankly at the monitor, and that you can't really adore him like you used to? or is it just me? right now i want my love for Naruto's character to come back...pre-699 of course but the current events are making me hate him and i don't want that... I'd like to cut off my image of him until 698 only and 699&beyond is just some impostor.

One of television channel here is broadcasting naruto part 1 again. Not to mention it's 1.5 hours. I usually forget about its broadcast schedule but when I check every channel to find what most interesting and come to naruto, I'm like   . And yes, I unconsciously question, "Is this naruto that Japanese calls as scumbag now?" He's too different. Maybe I silently and unconsciously start to downgrade my admire level to (character) naruto.

A few months ago, animenewsnetwork.com released an article that listed the top 10 most favorite anime character. Don't worry, Naruto couples are not on there (though that kitten might change next year). Looks like KiritoxAsuna is really popular over there in Japan:

Well when you think about it, some of them aren't canon but still got voted. Maybe that's what SP trying to do strongly. That's sad. Really sad.
