she still likes sasuke. am i the only 1 it really bothers?
LOL, trust me, you weren't the only one who was bothered with that panel. You can check out the Chapter 540 Thread to see how everyone here reacted when that came out.
There are basically two ways to look at that scene. The first is the way a lot of people here have been looking at it, which is to say that Sakura's "There's someone else I like..." line WASN'T connected to her image of Sasuke. Rather, it's that random nin's statement, "Anyone you love must be a great person" which triggered that thought bubble of Sasuke. The guy, in a way, put her on a pedestal, when in reality she realizes that her first love was not a great person, and therefore she doesn't deserve his praise.
The second way to look at that scene is that she still has feelings for Sasuke, and the conversation made her contemplate those feelings. Her previous statement was connected to the thought bubble, and she still believes she loves Sasuke. To me, this seems like the more obvious interpretation, though I'm not necessarily discounting the first. But here's the thing about that scene. Her feelings for Sasuke weren't portrayed in a positive light. In fact, the image was about as negative as you can get, what with the evil look, the flames in the background, and Sakura's negative expression.
On top of that, introducing this random nin into the plot for the sole purpose of reinforcing a previously established pairing isn't really Kishi's MO. To me, this doesn't seem like a stand-alone scene. I'm pretty sure this whole random love letter nin scenario is going to be mentioned again in the plot, and that one panel, as bad as it may seem to some, will be the catalyst for Sakura to finally resove her romantic issues.

Well, I know that, sorry if I was pointing fingers at you, its just that I just can't handle anyone else outside this forum hating on her, it just seems pointless at this point.
Edit: Yeah Boom, I'm really hoping for this to get resolve soon, some people here and probably other shippers are getting antsy and impatient. Yeah, I know this is not a romance manga, but still if Kishi is throwing it at our face, well I'm gonna take it as it is.

Plus it was kind of hard to tell that you where jocking due to you telling us that you thought about it from your experiences of watching soap operas and stuff.
You know, when Naruto and Sakura have their first kiss, Sakura could lightheartedly tease Naruto about her being his second kiss.
At that moment, hilarity would ensue.
It's OK. I just assumed it would be obvious because soap operas are nothing like mangas and full of hilarious dumb drama(especially the spanish ones

Yeah, I've noticed. If I would've made fun of NH or SS on another forum people would have torn me to shreads. Lucky people in this forum are nice.

Watch it, Leo-chan. I'm the older sister here.

Do you feel the whole "random love letter nin" will come into play later, in a scenario where he dies protecting Sakura? Cause i honestly don't see another way this love letter nin could show up in another plot point....and be useful. or is Kishi just trying to make us mad

No, I think what he wanted to say is that Sakura will remember what the lover-nin told her. But I would be very happy if we saw him again.

He could die protecting sasuke, the way sasuke protected him from Haku or the way the Iruka protected him from that dude.
Some people say well he cant die, if doesnt become hokage, well the village could make him hokage before he dies or he could die and then they make him honorary hokage or something like that.
Maybe Naruto or sasuke or both of them take care of Madara then they fight each other and both die, which might I add Naruto said would happen and he was pretty damn convincing.
Here's the SCARY alternative
Or Naruto dies saving sasuke and has enough faith in sasuke to do the right thing and sasuke in turn protects the village and kills Madara.
Then (pains me to say this) marries sakura and their name their kid Naruto, who would be an Uchicha so the clan would live on.
Of course the point is Naruto unfortunately has a good chance of dying which would ruin Narusaku.

Also, Naruto dying and Sasuke staying alive has zero chance of happening. It could be that Sasuke will die trying to save Naruto, but I'm not a fan of the idea.

Actually Goku didn't die in DBZ (at least not permanently), he just left to train his new student at the end. He sort of died in GT (depending on how you define 'die') but that was anime-only, so I'm not sure if Toriyama was involved in writing the conclusion.
And as cliche as Sasuke sacrificing himself for Naruto in a Haku Fight-esque moment sounds, Kishi definitely likes callback scenes, so I wouldn't be terribly surprised if it happens. Though personally I hope it's a little more original than that.

That is indeed scary, but unlikely. Why? Sakura would never get with Sasuke now; if she would, then all of the character growth of hers would be for nothing. If Sasuke ever became good again, Sakura would most likely just want him as a close friend and nothing more.
"The time has come at last for you to learn everything . . .
Fare thee well, Albert, my friend."

I know that he didn't die permanently, but thats exactly the point it's funny cause he died more than once...
