You're totally right! I'd be bonkers if I couldn't enter here anymore, I lurked for quite awhile before registering (I'm still thanking baby Jesus that I did just before kitten hit the fan).

Can't we manage to find a solution? I like having this private little corner of the internet, but can we find a way for other NS shipper to be able to register?

Maybe with some sort of 'application' so we can more or less filter who can be accepted and who can't? The we can happily maintain our lockdown state while opening up to new members, or something.

I absolutely cannot stand Hinata being advertised with Team 7 (AKA the main cast). If she had actually been better developed as a character and better developed with the members of the Team itself, I could accept it. Instead she just chased Naruto from the sidelines, only appearing in the manga every now and then over the span of 15 years. Then she got to screw Naruto and is apparently Sakura's bff according to The Last, what the...

In the last minute she received so much and she did nothing to earn any of it.

Hinata did not deserve Naruto.

She watched him. That's it. Her secret support did absolutely nothing for him because he still suffered from his loneliness. He still hated the villagers for ostracizing him. He still attached himself to another orphan because he felt they could relate to each other.

 

Hinata was finally introduced in like chapter 39 and she was just a "dark weirdo" to Naruto. You know when Hinata came out from the shadows and started supporting him to his face? After multiple other people were already doing the same. Iruka, Sasuke, Sakura, Kakashi, these were the people that saved Naruto. Hinata didn't come into the picture until they were already there.

 

She wasn't there for Naruto when he needed support from loneliness. She wasn't there for Naruto when he needed support from the villagers. She wasn't there for Naruto when he needed support throughout the Sasuke ordeal. She was there for Naruto when Neji died but only because Kishimoto specificallykilled him off so they'd have something to bond over.

And yet Hinata deserves Naruto because she's some kind of hipster love interest who thought he was cool before anyone else did.

It's not like Naruto is supposed to be portrayed as a complex human being. Nah, he's just a prize for this pitiful princess who called dibbs.

Yeah it's pretty insane, from what I've heard from my cousin, one of the future episodes is called Ash and Serena's First Date. I remember she was/still is going like "Damn they're actually going all out with this pairing. It looks like a pairing is finally going to happen in pokemon." and I thought there could be a chance, but then I took a step back and said "Let's just see where this all goes for X and Y before making that call. The end game for the X and Y series can greatly affect the outcome of the pairing." Though  I gotta say from what I saw up to like episode 13 it's been pretty good so far for story telling. Haven't seen anything passed that though.
