Omg your sig! These kittening bastards had the nerve to put moments like that knowing damn well of what was going to happen Not to mention that filler with Naruto telling that girl how he loved Sakura...     

It's weird that they created this NS filler moment, with such nice animation, yet when it comes to more platonic moments, like the one in the recent episode, it gets grade A kitten animation.

 

This often confuses me, because even though they show clear bias towards Hinata, they throw in NS scenes, when not needed. Ex. mecha episode( especially considering mecha was in love with Hinata, so we all assumed, it would be huge Hinata wanking there), the episode you mentioned, hell what was the point of Sakura smiling at Minato in such a cute way, if it never even happened in canon?

The funniest thing about the ending is that it would have made more sense if Naruto had just moved on. It would still be lame and underwhelming, but at least there wouldn't be any need for all those retcons. Furthermore, Naruto wouldn't be seen as a scumbag and Kishi wouldn't have to spend the majority of his time tryin and failing to do damage control. They could have walked away relatively clean.
But they just couldn't leave it alone. They knew that having Naruto move on from Sakura would be incredibly lame and that it would make Hinata a silver medal, so they had to find a way to undermine NS. Well it backfired spectacurlaly because it ende up having the exact opposite effect.

I don't know but now I want to see it too. :-/

Three panels. The date, a kiss, a discussion of platonic love. That's all you would need to resolve NS.

I still can't get over how easier it would have been to make NS. It wouldn't have needed made up flashbacks to make it more believable. They have plenty of material to use from the manga itself.

If true it gives further credence to the idea that he really has just lost it, or is simpyl THAT bad of a writer. It also seems to hint that the food couple is some kind of "I'm sorry" to NS fans? He can go kitten himself. I will not support his garbage any further.

 

How anyone could arrive at the conclusion that Sasuke's spawn is a callback to the original heroine of the series is silly. She's the bespectacled librarian caircature who wears passive conservative clothes - the sort of creature who spends her days reading books at the back of a classroom, ignoring what goes on around her with haughtiness because she's too intelligent and dignified to be seen associating herself with the simple and stupid. When she isn't telling people who try to communicate with her off then she's secretly looking over the rims of her glasses at the loud-mouth jokester because of some "magnetic pull" that draws her to the opposite incarnation of herself. The lack of understanding of her own pitiful woes as the arrogant smartass of her class makes her feel neglected and wanting. So she takes to following around the male spawn because of reasons that she doesn't know or may not understand as a pragmatist. 

 

In the end, the female spawn is just a random mishmash of personality traits from Karin, Hinata, and Sasuke. The only trace of Sakura in her is the "hell yeah" phrase that her formal attitude doesn't typically use. She doesn't represent Sakura in any form - be it physical, psychological, or even spiritual. They're two completely different people.

 

It doesn't make sence for NH/SS to support spawn A with spawn b. Not only for the reasons already stated above, but as supporters of the characters whom they rooted would be compatible and right for each other.

 

If they choose to go with those two spawn being together then it shouldn't be for the reasons and logic they used to devalue the concept of NaruSaku. They're contradicting their own logic by claiming that those two are NS in symbolism.
