uh, not sure what you mean.. off the top of my head, a list of things that he said

 

-sakura might look like a bad woman if she changed

-he decided the pairings from the beginning

-no wait he decided it from the middle  

-his wife is upset that narusaku didn't happen

 

US Interviewer: Did you expect such a divided reaction (in the U.S. at least) when you revealed whom Naruto marries in the future?

 

Kishi: I actually didn't realize I caused such controversy.

 

US Interviewer: Really? You had no idea?  

 

Mari Morimoto: So the fans wanted Naruto to get together with Sakura?

 

US Interviewer: Well, there's definitely camps of fans who felt that way, and there were also those that were very happy he ended up with Hinata. But there were quite passionate opinions on both sides!

 

Kishi: I almost caused a rift in my own household too, because my wife was very upset also that Naruto didn't get together with Sakura. In fact, she complained quite vehemently to me!

 

Jo Otsuki: Quite few of the female staff at Studio Pierrot that produces the anime, apparently were also upset.

 

US Interviewer: Whoah. So how did you handle that, especially with your wife?

 

Kishi: I tried to defuse the situation by assuring my wife that SHE was actually the model for Hinata. (laughs)

 

US Interviewer: As you were saying that, I thought, I wonder if your family life was more like Hinata and Naruto's family or Sasuke and Sakura's? (everyone laughs)

 

Kishi: Well… it might not actually be like either. My wife is quite strong as well, she's a strong character.

 

US Interviewer: Oh, so kind of like Sakura!

 

Kishi: So I think my wife might secretly realize that Hinata wasn't really the model for her… (laughs)

 

US Interviewer: Did you decide this early on, that Hinata and Naruto would get together in the end, or when…?

 

 

Kishi: From the middle, actually.

Okay. The more I know what that guy is saying everytime, the more I think he's a liar when answering.

 

At first, he said it was from the beginning then now he says from the middle he decided.

 

Second, he had no idea and didn't realize he caused such controversy ? He lives in Japan where the NS fans are way more than NH fans. Even his wife is with NS.

 

Third, I saw it he's lying much when he said at the end that his wife might secretly realize that Hinata wasn't a model of her that contradicts what he said before in the interview.

 

The anime industry has gone very greedy...

Director Tsuneo Kobayashi’s commentary on The Last from the program guide. I finally finished the full translation. Thanks again to rieriebee for providing scans.

At our first meeting with Kishimoto-sensei, it was requested that we make Naruto the main character of the movie as opposed to having a guest character for this work. From there, we thought about what Naruto was lacking, and came up with “romantic feelings.” It was decided that we would make Naruto’s last movie a “romance movie” instead of an “action movie.”

 

First, I received the scarf idea from the scriptwriter, Kyozuka-san, and was extremely pleased. From there, we thought we couldn’t make a story with a scarf as the main item, so we came up with the image of Naruto wearing a red scarf,
