The ending is the most important part, because it's where everything has to come together. If the ending sucks, the whole thing falls apart. So yeah, it's perfectly fine to discredit Kishimoto because of this horrendous ending, because not only has he shown himself to be a bad writer who would rather develop a "red herring" for 15 years than actually develop his intended pairings, he's also a sellout who willingly bends to external pressure and popularity polls. 

 

Also, Sasuke is not a blank slate. So we're supposed to believe that he really cared about Sakura, but he just didn't know how to show it. Well that could be a nice explanation, but we never see any hint of this inner conflict and that's the problem. Up until chapter 699, Sasuke's position had always been that he wasn't interested in Sakura at all. At best, he saw her as family, nothing more. 

 

Today is my birthday. Lol i was born in december, a month which will be always remembered as the month of THE LAST.

Happy birthday.   Hopefully next year will be better, unless of course Kishi and SP decides to release The Last 2.

You know, lately I have noticed that the end truly justify the mean and really, it's truly is important, especially a long period story, let alone a great one. Not saying this is a great one, but like other series. People who are fans want to see the end to make their time worth it. People who just loves story want to see the end to make their time worth it. As of late, I have been noticing that more and more that it really is an important factor.
