listening to sadness and sorrow again after idunno how long, my gosh it brings back memories back when some scenes MEANT something, back when there was such a bright future ahead for this series, back when this story was made by and author and editor who had cared enough.

I think people said that sakura love naruto like a brother because she doesn't love him. But people ignore the part that make of the one side love triangle and if sakura love naruto back, it will only make NS canon since both of them have mutual feeling.

I never saw the sibling love. I saw it as a boy meets girl. Girls hates boy at first but grew to be nicer. She realizes she's in love with him as he loves her.

I'll admit the guy cosplaying as Naruto could look a bit better, but he looks alright for the most part, Sakura's cosplayer looks kinda cute.

So I was reading the article review for Volume 72 on animenewsnetwork and after reading one part of it I was like THANK GOD Amy's got a brain when it came to Sakura's character: 

 

 

here is what she said about her in the review:   In Sakura's case, it's a sad regression of her character's potential, even if it's not particularly out of place. Ever since she was 12, she's been madly in love with the sullen jerk. When Sasuke graduated from “perpetual sourpuss” to “enemy of the village,” one would think she'd have second thoughts. Deciding she wanted to be as strong as her teammates in her own way by studying under Tsunade was the first time she was passionate about something outside of her crush. As an older teen, she should have been able to let go of her feelings for a guy who had never been anything but rude to her and went so far as to try to kill her at one point because she was in his way. Of course, this isn't to say that she should wind up with Naruto, whom she loves like a brother. <- (ignoring this part) However, after becoming such a strong and intelligent kunoichi, she should have enough self-esteem to move past this unhealthy attraction.

Loves like, Loves like a brother. Okay let's go with this. the question here as many of us have asked is WHERE is the PROOF? Where has it unambiguously stated that Sakura loves Naruto like a brother? Was it when Yamato said "The truth is you-"? Okay you WHAT, love Naruto like a brother, just plain love Naruto? Anyone's guess is as good as mine, he didn't make it that far. When Sakura was hugging Naruto in public, she had no reason to do so cause she could have just said "I'm glad you're alright" like ANY of her other friends without needing to get physically intimate. when she offered to feed him she didn't need to, and also keep in mind she offered after remembering Naruto saying something heartwarming to her. Does a SISTER need a reason like that to feed her brother if he's hurt? when Minato asked if Sakura was  Naruto's girlfriend did she Blatantly say "NO!" like she did in Part one?

 

The point being is that those moments are not not regular brother sister moments, because they would have incestuous tones to them if they were brother and sister and throws the Westermark effect out the window, as we've seen in other anime. And even if it were, WHY is no one confirming it? Why is someone not saying OH you get alondg so well like brother and sister? hmm? Why isn't the creator himself giving a straight answer to this subject and avoids it like the plague? And why did he say that they are platonic life partners AFTER the movie came out? what was So hard about saying that DURING the manga's run if that was the intent?

 

So say what you want about Naruto and Sakura's relationship but but honestly give something better than "they are like brother and sister" because be honest, if YOU had a brother or sister (if not, a friend that you regard as one), you would not behave like that towards them unless you were attracted to them.

This is the scenario i always imagine 2 years before naruto reach chapter 700.

Sasuke send message to naruto to come alone and meet him at hashirama and madara statue to settle things there, and naruto confuse should he discuss this with his friends or not. In the end he decide not to, and latter that night he ask sakura to date, because he decide the only way to bring sasuke back is to let him to become hokage and that also will make sakura happy hes going to a suicide mission so this will be his last day.

 

Naruto: Sakura-chan wanna go date with me?

Sakura: I'm busy my mom ask me to do some errand and i got part time job at hospital tomorrow.

Naruto: Oh ... well ok, good night Sakura-chan.

Sakura notice naruto smile is bit weird and she feels somethings odd not right about it

Sakura: Wait i think its ok, but i can only go for 1 hour

Naruto: No no if you really busy then yo....

Sakura: Just shut up and take me with you

Then after eating ramen watch firework and walk around konoha they unconsciously arrive at the training ground where they train together with sasuke to snatch the bell from kakashi

Naruto: Look the stars are out

Sakura: Oh you right, is very beautiful ...

Naruto look to his right side and see Sakura looking up to the sky he froze looking at the only girl he loves the most

Then Naruto depart from konoha and go meet sasuke, then the rest of the team found out naruto is going to meet sasuke and going after him [same way like sasuke retrieval arc], Shikamaru give little speech before they depart in front of konoha gate: 'This is just like when we go to rescue sasuke, i said before that i don't know about sasuke but he is a comrade and konoha shinobi we should bring him back... But now its different, now we know he is a criminal and missing nin i don't give a damn about him, we gonna bring back naruto we cannot let him die just because he wants to, he is our precious comrade and our future hokage he already bring peace to shinobi world, that idiot always shoulder everything alone now its our turn to help him get his dream', sakura cry after hearing shikamaru speech. Konoha rookie vs Taka, Sakura will fight againts Karin. Naruto lose badly and fatally wounded because he remember about sakura likes sasuke so he cannot fight with his full power, then sakura arrive like that image.

I'd change the entire premise acually starting from when Naruto began his obsession with Sasuke. THAT is where everything went wrong.

This so much this and then I would have their relationship be more of the lines of Magneto and Xavier were they are still friends but not true friends in the end of the manga. The obession that Naruto seemed to have ruined the entrie story and development of both Sakura and Naruto and hindered a lot of the storyline and plot. I had a NH storyline planed where Naruto grew to love Hinata but still had fond memories of his first love Sakura who died giving birth to their daughter. This didn't turn Naruto into a kitten or downgraded his love for Sakura. It just made it more like a real victory in the end for the pairing I had decided to write about.

I write both NH/NS fan fiction in this story Hinata also makes sure her step daughter knows about her mother and how much she cared about her like a good person would and not the selfish persona that SP made her into in The Last. But I know how most of these charcters would act before the awful movie in the Last and 613-700.

I hate NH but wouldn't mind reading it a bit. I fortunately am done with Naruto fanfiction. I have one story to finish and I'll finish by next year. After that I think I can only do crossovers with Sakura.

I'm more into HP fanfiction and tbh that's probably the MOST active community on that site. I did a fic that I started on September 23rd and before October I had over 50k hits.
