This is why the series is so flawed. The writing albeit be the writer's fault or partial blame to fans, is really vague and misunderstood. Why we have an argument when it should be clear as day. It never got to that and mainly because Kishi is really bad at making it so simple.

First of all, I have to credit to establish the huge flaw of Sakura's character. It's not even about pairing war, it's about the principle of her character. It's like someone from the future gave you intelligent speech about what happened if you conduct this mass of destruction, only you still pull it and all I can do is call you a complete fool or I just walk back home with a disgusted face. It was too late to make the pairing look genuine. Now, it's among the worst pairing of all time.

Now my next criticism. Brother and sister relationship. First of all, who said that in the series? The ghost of Kishi? Because I didn't see him. Second, if you were to tell me I didn't follow the manga, I just got back from Minato pulling a tease, how the kitten am I supposed to know? Third, have you read any other series? Because I would think many of them are brother and sister if we go by no answered logic. Touka and Kaneki, Lucy and Natsu, Winry and Ed, Soma and Erina, and even the damn Sword Arts Online but that's because they went to home base asap. So again, should I base that assumption because "tsundere can't love lol" non-sense? Newsflash: your so called best manga ever FMA is a tsundere win, so live with that for the rest of your life.

Lastly, shouldn't the writing of this piece of crap tell me that they are brother and sister? Because I would love that a lot to make me understand why he had to move on. Although, Kishi did say he didn't do anything about that rather just make it a hoax for NS, because we need to surpass the famous lochness monster photo, right? I would love for confirmation because Wendy from Fairy Tail did it. She confirmed it in one page. You know, something Kishi has a hard time for whatever reason. Can't even do the damn women are strong segment right, yet the so called parody manga Gintama did it justice in 3 kittening pages.

Well, I am done. 5 years ago, seeing Kishi at NYCC sounds like a dream come true. Now, it's just another guy.

The thing is with the whole "Naruto and Sakura are siblings" or have "a brother-sister bond" claim is it always an attempt to mitigate/deny/suppress/ect Naruto and Sakura feelings. They can't say that Naruto and Sakura don't have a bond. To say they don't even have that would bring into question what is the point of all their interactions throughout out 710 chapters. They can't call them just friends in an attempt to 'friends zone" the pairing, because it obvious that the bonds and feeling go deeper than that. So they have to stick it as a bond between sibling to make it sound incestuous so they won't have to think of it. It gives Naruto and Sakura a close bond but something that can't happen romantically cause it incest. Which allows to block the possibility of them thinking of the pairing as an actual possibility of becoming romantic cause it obvious that if Naruto and Sakura bond can be seen in a romantic way. Then it's stronger and more developed that the pairings they support ss and/or nH.

 

So when ever they bring up NS they always have to say it a sibling bond despite nothing really supporting that notion. Let's face it kishi is not that subtle if he wanted Naruto/Sakura to be seen as a bond between sibling then someone in the manga would have pointed out what much they behave like siblings.

 

Is there a single scene like that?

This is pretty much a way to say, "Just insert anything to save your precious work." Like I have to fill so many blanks for the series to be good, which doesn't work.

I think that may have happened after the ending cause they were not above using fans made excuses to justify the ending.

 

Also I've read someone comment on tumbler that even her VAs hate hinata. Can anyone confirm that?

The thing is you can say that Sasuke and Naruto bond is brotherly because it constantly stated to be that. The reincarnation bits, the bit during the valley of the end in part one, and Naruto conversation with itachi to name three. Admittedly it was basically just to justify why Naruto and Sasuke care about so much about each other and why Naruto keeps on pursuing him. And even then people still can easily turn it gay.

 

My guess is that people want to use that sibling bond kishi says Sasuke and Naruto have to say that Naruto and Sakura have the same thing but not Sasuke and Sakura of course.

No one said that they are siblings. No one. All we got is that they were red herring. A huge hoax that made no sense and that says a lot. Plus, you had Sarada defending Sasuke from Ino after children and such, what makes you think trend dies.

That's a good point too. If there's one thing Kishi has been consistent at, it has been contradicting himself every chance he can get.

That's still a problem. It happened after the series ended. Why not tell us in the story. You have to tell us in the story for us to understand what we were looking at it, before we questioned it. Not only that, but it happened so sudden. Every good series will tell us what exactly is the relationship. This relationship is romantic as well, so it can't be only for siblings. Otherwise, all other series I saw is really incest.

It's so last minute, that it's only there for an excuse more so than reliable reason. This is something you would believe in if you don't watch other series because Naruto would be seen as a poor man anime, and I do mean that. For a guy who does exposition, he sure can't write a convincing one. Again, this is the guy who just said all moments before are red herring, so now he has to make them something and that's siblings.

 NH and SSters want to use sibling logic with NS, fine by me. Incest in Japan is well liked that even the Japs marry their first cousin and there are plenty of manga out there that has step, half, and full blooded sister/bother than romantically like each other
