I don't always want hardcore realism, if that's what you mean. That would be boring, I agree. I just want a sense of realism in certain ways, I guess. It doesn't have to be Shawshank Redemption for me to like it. I mean, for example, Code Geass is my favorite anime, and it's far from realistic in ways, but it still holds enough ground for me to stay interested and pleased with it.

Yeah, especially in video games. I like "realism" in games sometimes, but other times I want to be that total Juggernaut that wrecks havoc. Sometimes I find fun in just beating the crap out of everything.

What's best I say is "balance". Have a good mix of realism and fantastic fantasy so that it is exciting and fun but not just some random ass pull and MAKES SENSE if you do want to think about it critically.

I totally understand. Games are totally different than manga series. To keep reading a manga, you need the story and characters to be good. Having a total juggernaut of a character that's unbeatable and perfect in every way without any flaws won't fly too well in a manga. In a game? If the gameplay is awesome, go for it. Interactivity is what's most important in games.
