Yeah b/c her looks actually fit the one from the manga XD

I'm not rascist or anything (heck, we're both asian!), but I feel like some credibility/seriousness is lost if you have asian actors living in a European-like town...

That's true. It's the same when europeans do asian movies.. (even though i can't think of one right now)

If the movie is Japanese why would you expect that? They're very strict on immigration. Not much white ppl live in Japan. I think the casting is great actually, especially Mikasa. She has the cold look.

I know, I know *sigh* I shouldn't have expected too much in the first place anyways. Well yeah, I think everyone likes the choice for Mikasa's actress. Eh, I'll just remain cautios until I see the movie myself. I've merely seen pics if the actors, that's it. I know nada about their acting skills. Obviously, they scrapped and added characters. A fact that annoys me personally although I know they have their reasons to have done so (but it looks like they've just changed names for some characters). edit: I was about to say that they could have dyed their hair and etc, but that would look too unnatural maybe XD

I LOVE IT! 

favorite characters: I have too many but, Hinata, Sugawara, Kageyama, Nishinoya and Tanaka   there's some more but I forgot their names..

The match was so awesome! I love seeing Sugawara play. Hopefully in the next season. The match was a huge surprise tbh, or at least how it ended.

BOLDED: Those two guys are my men in Karasuno's team ! Is maybe one of the other guy's names you forgot "Oikawa" ? I was positively surprised when I finished the anime. Didn't expect to enjoy an anime about volleyball to that extent tbh. I personally believe that Haikyuu was one of the best animes of 2014 (I enjoyed it more than Fate/Stay Night: UBW and Parasyte- The Maxim, and that says something). Yeah, the outcome of the match was surprising, but realistic in my eyes. Season 2 is bound to get better- if the anime follows the manga. Join us in the Haikyuu! thread when you are done catching up ^_^ !

I love Oikawa T_T !!! He's adorkable and amazing at the same time (he and Iwaizumi are too hilarious XD ). Right now, there are Ch. 152 chapters. If you don't want to start from Ch.1, you could start around Ch.70/Ch.71 I think.

Iwa-chan and Oikwa's moments are hilarious! One of the most funny ones, to me, next to Tanaka and Nishinoya.

Yup, it is a weekly one. It's actually releasd in Shounen Jump XD I've always over Tanaka and Nishinoya playing bodyguards for Kyoko even though she's always pissed of by them XD

Haikyuu has been running since 2011 or 2012- it's all good ^_^ I personally don't have any prejudices against Shounen Jump. Right? I loved how these three are freaking over a game XD Nishinoya acts like his pride has been damaged, and Kageyama is like cursing like hell. Asahi's also funny when he is running away like that XD Did you notice how towards the end when they played that game, it parodied Karasuno's last match in the anime?

It is selling very well in Japan! Normally,  a volume sells around 600,000 to 700,000 per volume. If it ever got released in the US, I'd buy it. Poor Asahi XD Everyone is making fun of him T_T

Imao, I love how Tanaka is always taking his shirt of, and someone (usually Suga) is making him look stupid afterwards

Well...

In their last match against Aoba Johsei, Hinata's spike got blocked, and everything was slowpaced. Everything is the same in the OVA, too. Hinata's face, the PS Vita is the "volleyball", and Kageyama is like "kitten No" in both of them.
