okay I plan to finish the Sanctuary arc today

After you finish Sanctuary arc you can watch the movie The Legend of the Sanctuary and read Saintia Sho, but of course those are optional choices. Oh man in my childhood the battle with the Pope was brutal and scary.  

 

Asgard is coming probably for me the best filler of all animes I have watched. Believe it or not Asgard is my favorite arc, yes Santuary and Hades arc (Sanctuary) are the best, but Asgard is my favorite.

What convenient that Asgard was made when Kurumada was taking a break that time, of course they were making time. Other stuff is that the Asgard's characters were not made by Kurumada, no wonder wonder Asgard is filler and there is nothing about them in the manga.

 

By the way what do you think of Aphrodite?

I'm enjoying it.  It's standard shounen cliches, but that doesn't automatically mean it's bad.

The biggest surprise for me was that it wasn't full blown dues ex revival at the end, like I was expecting, but Aphrodite preventing everyone else from being fully absorbed, though that doesn't explain how all their cloths regained their power.  And in the end, the villain's well thought-out plan will be foiled by shounen power-ups and spanners (Odin, you sneaky god ).

 

I'm not all that familiar with the previous series and manga.  I didn't expect to know the flashbacks of events that happened in the main series.  Fortunately, it didn't go beyond being nods to the original anime, and this spinoff is an original story.

 

I like the characters.  There isn't a character I particularly dislike, though that's probably because I haven't watched the original, and I heard some of these Gold Saints were jerks and/or evil before the Wailing Wall.  I like Lyfia; I don't see why some people dislike her.  Yes, she's powerless, initially, but still, she took the difficult path.  It shows a strength of will that other characters who do have powers lack.

 

Looking forward to the last episode.

SOG is not bad, but it could be better, but that I will tell you until the end. For now  my reply. You know Aphrodite was  not so favorite in the classic until now in SOG , fans still laughing about he did it really was unexpected, many memes and pics were made for the hero of  the episode 12 and 4 .

 

The Golden are the favorites for the fans even the fandom loves more the GS than the real protagonists the Bronze Saints. About Lyfia hate is because is in the way of one ship, Marin/Aoria XD.( Even if Saint Seiya doesn't focus in the romance so much).

 

Aphrodite supported the   evil  Pope  and DeathMask was a murder of innocents now in SOG   they found redemption.

 

So after SOG what are you going to do? I really I want you to stay, SS has not finish, there is more spin- off to see and the original story is on. One of the best spin off is SS Lost Canvas and the new one in manga Saintia Sho.  If you don't  want to  begin since the beginning   I recommend you begin in Hades arc.

So how was Saga AKA the most favorite and badass GS which didn't defeat him, how was Sanctuary arc specially the twelve temples?

Right now I am sad SOG ended today and this is me in this moment:

 

 

Think again, we got Saintia Sho, Lost Canvas I have not read complete the manga still waiting for 4th season in anime, we got Episode G, but I have not read and maybe I am not interested. Not enough? Next Dimension is coming.

 

Episode 13 my thoughts:

 

 

My Kokoro

It was a good episode which I won't judge for the animation because is too imperfect. The Gold Saints together again I was happy watching displays of their attacks. My favorite part about that scene is when part of them try to form a defense. Dohko and his shields, Mu his Cristal Wall, Shaka and his Cosmos field and Camus making a Ice wall it was cool. The most  important part is when they got together, was the chat between them. Mostly Milo and Camus , then to see Aiolos and Saga making the peace between them, that was a good detail. What else? the boss making her appearance Athena was there too, the GS were crying, then epic moment the god Cloth and at last we got see Aphrodite in his. Later surprise Toei didn't forget that SOG has a connection with the canon and all mighty Poseidon appeared and Sorrent too and Hilda was not so happy. Well in the end  was sad to say goodbye to them.

 

Finally as NS shipper my feelings rest a little and forgetting  more about that stupid rivalry scene when  I saw the Aioria and Lyfia moment, yes was tragic and, but it is like that how must be a romance scene in a shonen, in my opinion Aioria and Lyfia became canon.( or like some fan said no Marin or neither Lyfia got Simba.)

 

 

SOG

 Soul of Gold it was good, but it could be better, bad animation, it was rush, the manage of the days was bad and  Toei was focus in just making money., So why did you made a channel for the anime if your were not making well things? money is the only the answer. 

In the end I like more SOG more than Omega it was better than Omega. The only thing to say as old fan of SS the gold age won't back again. For me if Toei anime SS anymore things probably it could be better.

Saga is special because he began everything, meaning the Sanctuary arc and the Gemini Saint is so mysterious that you still has not finish with him , the twin zodiac sign has more to hide.

The franchise will be making 30 years in november, so it might be something related to that

What do you think this announcement might be?

 

At best it could be a remake of the classic saga with upgraded animation ( not very likely)

At worst it could be just another bunch of cloth myths & characters in action figures ( this one is probably the most possible option)

 

About SOG ending:

 

I was pleasantly surprised, it tied nicely with the Hades saga and it made me feel 

So even though the animation was not the very best, SOG had some very nice moments

THAT ND IS CONTINUING AND NO MORE HIATUSES.  Well another series or a movie would be great too. Or Seiya and Saori will become canon (but won't have kids for consistency)
