Done chapter 1. I wasn't aware of this. I didn't know about it. Same goes to OPM extras. I didn't know there were more. I especially like his past days from school. It got me, man.

I love the fact that even though we're in the Nanatsu no Taizai thread, you couldn't help it but mention a ton of other characters, only to make it look like Meliodas & co are not that much better than King

Lmao, Nnt is a fun, good manga, but it doesn't outrank some of the other ones that I've read. Specifically regarding King, I don't dislike him at all, I just like giving the two of you kitten My actual thoughts on King are pretty indifferent. I don't really think he's a great character, but I definitely don't think he's terrible. I guess I got turned off when he tried to kill someone that was stated to be one of his best friends on a whim, and he didn't even bother trying to look into what happened. He was going to kill Ban based off of an assumption, and I guess I didn't like that. I don't think that he's all that complex either. From what I've seen, I think that Ban is way more complex as a character, and Melodias, Merlin, and Escanor all have the chance to be.

King will always be my favorite. I've liked him from the start I've seen him. King isn't perfect as you've mentioned above, and that's one of the reasons why I like King. He's very protective of the forest after all, so after having heard of what Ban apparently had been accused of, he wanted to take revenge. Now, after tons of discussions with NU01, I kind of started wondering how close Ban's relationship with each one of the members in the group was. I honestly think that the only true friend Ban had was Meliodas. I don't think they've been that close- well, before this whole Elaine thing you see. But yeah, he should have researched first before trying to "murder" Ban(b/c making Ban into a stature is the closest way of killing Ban XD).

Ban... I guess I'm indifferent on him. I love his humor and interactions with the other members. I even loved how he wept tears when Hawk died T_T I was beyond pissed though when he attacked Meliodas in the most inoppurtune moment he could have chosen. Yes, I understand his motifs and life w/out Elaine is hell, but it seriously left a bad taste in my mouth. At least he regrets his actions as we've seen in the most recent chapters. I personally dislike how his entire world revolves around Elaine. He might have a higher ranking if it weren't for this tbh. But as I've already said, I dislike the romance in NnT in general (the exception being EscanorxMerlin).

I like Meliodas! Second favorite male sin member after King. Looking forward to finding more about his past.

Right now, I've put Diane and Merlin on the same ranking XD I love both women.

All joking aside, I respect your opinion. That actually makes a lot of sense. And yeah, I'm somewhat of a hyporcrite of this, because that is exactly one of the reasons why I don't like Ban too much. The fact that he easily agreed to the Goddess Clan's request without a second notion showed how selfish of a character he was. It's like...King's actions was for everyone (or so he thought) while Ban's was only for himself. He never really asked if Elaine wanted to come back; he's willing to kill the only person who truly accepts him (that's living) just to raise another one back from the dead (whom he only knew for a week). 

 

But it's not like King's selfish actions in the beginning didn't create this mess that he's in now. Overall, I think the whole random friend thing was just bad story writing. Nnt...has a lot of instances of bad story writing...which is why I hate the general story. But I still love the characters.
