Oh Sai where are you.....This chapter I had mixed feelings about, I knew Sakura still felt something for Saucekay but I also knew he didnt like her at all, but with the ending coming up and the movie that could change and they could fall in love.
I at this point just wish Sai was there to tell everyone to shut up so they can resolve their feelings before the fight.
Sai would know what to do.

Today.
I was referring to her feelings for Sasuke
and people said the same thing when 675 came out.....they most likely will say it again in the future when NS becomes canon.

This chapter was so confusing that it discouraged me a little bit.
Don't be discouraged.
We already knew Sakura still had feelings for Sauce in the name of the past and she tried to make him see how much she is letting him go.

When did SS die?
Has it ever been alive?

When did SS die?
Everything associated with it is bipolar. It gets constantly resurrected and killed in the same chapter.

I would find very funny if here, among the all characters who have a crush towards someone, the only who could change his mind is the main character, who uses always to say "Never give up! That's my Nindo!!" (He even reaffirmed that in this chapter to Kakashi regarding saving Sasuke)... Funny but not so funny.

Umm her feelings died when Sasuke left in my opinion.

All of these comments... Seriously, REALLY?!
I don't know if I'm tempted to closed the thread for the moment. Because majority of you need to calm the f--- down. And its getting ridiculous to the point I'm putting my foot down right now.
As for this chapter, grammar and bias strikes again. When the raws comes out, maybe I can say my views for the chapter. But for now, all I can say maybe this is Kishimoto's way to give Sakura some sort of a reality check.
I like your way of thinking but I digress this is Kishi, and this could change nothing, Karin getting a actual lightning spea through her heart didn't wake her up, and give her a reality check...as I said in my previous post until Kishi actually comes out and says it clearly, nothing is clear, and if Kishi plans to continue the manga after the movie, then it's possible we won't get a clear picture until the very end.
I hope once Sakura wakes up, Kishi lays it down clearly for us, but I doubt it, he has volumes to sell, and keeping this pairing war going creates drama which creates sales and him and his family stocked up on Ramen.

Sorry English is not my first language.
I meant she wanted him to know that all the hope she had for a good outcome is gone.

I believe the idea is that if we were to follow since 540, it's like one final try because maybe 540 could be just a mistake, only to get stabbed here. To make matter worse, that was her last moment to witness the action from Sasuke. So if she were to wake up like during the battle, she will be left with a bad sendoff. Now the question is how the end will go. Will Naruto be left alone again? Will Naruto and Sasuke stay at the same place as others show up? I know that they will eventually have to turn off the genjutsu, but this does leave a spot to have them depart. It's all up in the air.
how? In the genjutsu?

What I thought was a head scratcher was Sakura's comment saying if there was any love left in his heart for her (or something like that). Wha? It makes me wonder if Kishi is going to put more emphasis in the future on Sakura's interactions with Sasuke in part 1, where it really looked like they had a connection.
Also sort of bummed because this gushing statement to Sasuke, a confession of sorts, means that her confession to Naruto must have been less honest than I originally thought, her words about 'I already have someone' to LoverNin and her reflection about Sasuke must have been more genuinely reflecting her feelings for Sasuke, and her pounding of Naruto after he said 'she's my uh...girlfried,' must not have been as rooted in embarrassment over her feelings for Naruto as I'd originally thought. Bummer.
And I can I just say I HATE the way Naruto reacts to these situations! He gets all whiny towards Sasuke, instead of being pissed as he should be. I mean, Sasuke just cut her down in front of him, and then inflicted a violent genjutsu meant to disable the body and break the mind.... And Naruto's whining about it? Then even after Sasuke goes on to say she's basically useless to him, Naruto still doesn't step up and tell him to stick it. He just says and does nothing. Ugh.
And what was the last line about hoping Sasuke finds another love, other than that for his mother? What a weird, out-of-left-field thing to say. Like, who cares? It has to be forshadowing to keep SS hanging on.
(And actually with all this straightforward love talk coming from and about Sasuke, I now expect there to be a full blown acknowledgement scene from Sasuke to Sakura before it's all over.)
Anyway the reset button has been officially pushed. The relationships are all back to square one. Sakura just confessed to Sasuke and begged him not to go again, he told her she was annoying again, and he knocked her out again. Naruto promised to bring Sasuke home again. And now they've gone off to fight at the Valley of the End again. *sigh*
The only thing interesting is that Sasuke's going to teach Naruto the true meaning of Hokage, which was stated early on in the manga as the most powerful in the village, not necessarily the most well-liked as Naruto is saying. And Sasuke has always been more powerful than Naruto. Plus he's craftier, wilier and fights dirtier than Naruto. So it will be interesting to see what Sasuke has up his sleeve this time.
One thing's for certain, a single battle isn't going to resolve anything at this point. If Naruto wins, Sasuke isn't coming back. He isn't going to acknowledge Naruto or be kind to Sakura or Kakashi. He isn't going to just surrender and return home to become an active part of the village. Won't happen.
If Naruto's ultimate goal is to bring Sasuke, then there's going to have to be another arc or two. I'm glad there's a movie/part 3/next phase coming up. Because Kishimoto just rebooted the whole story.
edit: I'm going back to fanfic where things make sense

The only question is are we going to shift back and forth with the fight? It does make me wonder if this is going to be repeat on the result of the fight. Like will Naruto and Sasuke stay in one place or will only one stay like last time?
The first VotE fight had its focus shifted back to Kakashi as he discovered Sasuke's defection from Tsunade. We might see that happen again, only this time Kakashi already knows about the battle. This refocusing is just a chance for him to reflect on everything that's been going on.
That keeps me wondering where the heck does Kishi have his inspiration in writing this. She doesn't know what female would feel if they are verbually abuse by a person they cared about. Are they having a lover's quarrel with his wife that he decided to write this.. this.. argh.
I seriously like Sakura but I just sometimes hate why Kishi should make her look like a damsel in distress again. It's like the girls are only there for romance purposes and nothing more. Girls are emotional but they should not be treated like crap. What would even the viewers think? That girls only wants only love there, love that, love, love, love..
P.S. sorry about my rant. I just hate how the girls are treated. I'm girl so I know.
I wouldn't call it a lover's quarrel. This is just Kishi's interpretation of a healthy, passionate connection from one good friend to the other. In his mind, suffering through all the neglect, the crimes, and the trauma is the marking of someone who really cares for you. Well, it's more of an obsession than anything. At least we can take solace in knowing that the damsel in distress role has been passed around from male to female, from an unimportant character to an important one. True, Sakura does appear to be fitted for the role more often than others, but a large part of that has to do with the increased amount of exposure that her character has to the audience.
She's not the only one with an all-consuming devotion to Sasuke. Naruto has acted like the faithful mouthpiece for Sasuke's good name since the Kage Summit arc. Remember, it was Naruto who groveled at the feet of a complete stranger and it was Naruto that hyperventilated over the moral complications that his "friend's" crimes were causing for him. There's no question that Kishi has a nasty habit of turning his females into emotionally dependent stereotypes. But it's not just the girls who have it rough. In Sakura's case, she does have more going for her than just her love life (albeit it's usually put on the backburner when Sasuke and Team 7 are involved).
