Did you not see Minato and Kushina survive having their whole mid-section impailed by Kurama's nail? Or Sasuke survive having his chest and organs blown out? This is the least concerning matter considering Sakura is a medical ninja. For all we know she made the incision through his muscle and ribs then moved her arm around or above his right lung to get to his heart.
Sasuke survived because Juugo replaced all of his missing parts almost immediatly after he lost them. Minato and Kushina died so I don't see how they are relevant.

Yeah, I always had a feeling that Kabuto's storyline wasn't finished. Just on hold. After all, if Kishimoto gives redemption stories to people who are true villains, then why wouldn't he give one to Kabuto who has only functioned as the consummate double-agent. He's been a great sphinx-like character, helping when it helped him, much like Orochimaru. Too much time has been spent on Kabuto's backstory to let him just die in a cave, forgotten.
Also another thought: So Karin whips out her chains.... (Come on, really, we all knew she had them hidden somewhere. She seems like that kind of girl, doesn't she!
)
Where were these big moves when Sasuke was busy KILLING HER?!?! He would have run her through, thinking she was just an expendable pawn with some occasionally helpful healing powers. Why didn't she whip out her chains then and defend herself? Or any other Uzumaki tricks she has up her jail-bird sleeves?
I know...you could say she was stunned, it was Sasuke, her true love, blah, blah, blah— But if Sasuke had killed her, she would have just up and died without ever revealing some of her strongest powers. It would be like Naruto dying from a single kunai wound when he had the rasengan just waiting to be released.
I think it's the same case with Naruto, when he fought Gaara.
Karin never really felt this desperate for Sasuke's life and Sasuke was never in such a dire situation. By Mangastream's translation, it seems that Orochimaru expected this to come at a certain point because he says "It has finally awakened" or something like that.
So it means this power-up is somewhat connected to her emotional state.

Why are we asking how Sakura got to Naruto's heart? I mean Tsuande anyone? Orochimaru? Kabuto? She is a medical ninja she knows what she is doing and we shouldn't expect nothing else considering this is Naruto and people who are cut in half can survive and heal themselves.
It's bothersome, that's why. The scene was intense because it seemed like a real medical procedure but in reality it would just kill him even more.

This is what Sakura is doing. So she is doing mouth to mouth to keep air in his lungs as she healed him. It's a standard heart surgery process. but she had to cut his lung to get to his heart. You guys can stop asking about what she is doing now.

Uh, no it was not immediately and Minato and Kushina didn't die immediately from their grave wounds either. In fact Minato died from performing the Shinigami Seal and Kushina was already weakened from child birth and having the Kyuubi extracted and still didn't die immediately. Absolutely relevant, but not even the point. The point is that Sakura performing that medical treatment is well within the realm of reality consider surgeons do the same thing.

Well from the looks of it... the hand holding his heart is healing him. Kinda like when Sakura healed her stab wound with the sword/rod/sharp object still inside her (way back during the Sakura vs Sasori fight).

hahaha... there're some little errors within it... btw the meaning was pretty clear. Sakura is to Naruto what Kushina was to Minato. Both females supported their dream about to become hokage.

About pairingology (?) we can call this phenomenom as "The Spiralling Arc Syndrome". Spiralling because of Naruto, and for a Spiral being a form that begins in one point, goes on circles and ends in other distant point.
It occurs when a pairing lead the beginning of an arc with smooth and gentle acts, but another one wich directly contradicts the first one gives the closure with impactful gestures.
Examples:
Chuunin Exam Arc. Hinata loses to Neji, Naruto promises to avenge her over her blood. Then, Sakura got hostage'd by Gaara and Naruto saves her unlocking all his power.
Pain Arc. Hinata confess her love to Naruto and makes him unlock his hatred. In the end, Sakura hugs Naruto thanking him, making Hinata's confession pass unnoticed.
War Arc. Hinata raises Naruto's selfsteem just right when he was losing it and gains an chakra cloak. Then, Sakura is the one who's right aside Naruto when he's dying, giving him all support she can gives, presenting us with the first hetero labial touch in the manga.
I should study pairing as a profession.

When the body is entered from the side, the ribs are spread apart to give enough room for the surgeon to work. Your ribs are flexible, they can be spread some before they break. Once the opening is large enough, a small incision is made in the lung and a tube is inserted. Cutting the lung causes it to deflate, which gets it out of the way so the surgeon can see what he is doing. Once the surgeon is finished and ready to close, air flows through the tube to re-inflate the lung slightly. The tube is removed and the lung incision closed, and your breathing will re-inflate the lung.
This is what Sakura is doing. So she is doing mouth to mouth to keep air in his lungs as she healed him. It's a standard heart surgery process. but she had to cut his lung to get to his heart. You guys can stop asking about what she is doing now.

Well guess we can say Sakura holds his heart dearly...
This scene of her focusing on his dream, makes me wonder how she will act around him in the following chapters. Just more development on the long road of the story for Sakura. I'm still shocked, I wasn't counting on anything like CPR or a meaningful Sakura to Naruto moment with those looks and thoughts.
I never really though bad of Karin, I mean she was one part humor another part a good support character to sasuke but she just went full blown unleashed. Though I do like how Sugestisu can just be a gunsligner now with water pistols. But seeing this with Karin, she was enjoyable in the UNS2 and 3 games, her special was a comical slapping an explosive tag on her opponent however if it was sasuke she runs over to say sorry and if he is okay.
I just cannot wait to see what comes next, this was a good chapter like 631.

But yeah, I agree with you. That was my first thought when I saw that panel tbh.

I can see her kissing him when he wakes up and Gaara saying: "I don't think he needs CPR anymore..."
That would be the best! Ha ha

What's the source on this?
Minimally Invasive Heart Surgery
For minimally invasive heart surgery, a surgeon makes small incisions (cuts) in the side of the chest between the ribs. This type of surgery may or may not use a heart-lung bypass machine.
What Is Minimally Invasive Heart Bypass Surgery?
During minimally invasive bypass surgery, the surgeon performs the surgery through a small incision (about 3 inches) in the chest. It may be an option for some patients who require a left internal mammary artery graft to the left anterior descending artery.
The benefits of minimally invasive bypass surgery include:
A smaller incision, thus a smaller scar.
A shorter hospital stay. In some cases, only 3 days are needed (instead of the average 5 to 6 days for traditional surgery).
Shorter recovery time.
Other benefits may include:
Less bleeding.
Less potential for infection.
Less pain and trauma.

In Sakura's case she did it from his side.
