We had NS in the last chapter, SS in this chapter(even if it was one-sided). Kishi could squeeze in two pairing moments in two chapters.

Agreed. Hopefully there's more to this power of hers.  Given it's different from Tsunade's "Strength of 1000", I wouldn't be surprised.

This was a nice chapter for her. 

 

eh. I guess you can call her not mentioning Naruto a SS a moment, but I don't really feel threatened  by it. Maybe I'm just over confidant, or I know it will probably actually feel more like a threat in a few chapters.

 

Like others have already said, I think she's just happy to see he's really got her back. After the last time she saw him, it's probably still 'amazing' to see this kind of turn around from him.

man some people here don't have very thick skins lol. she was happy that a person she cares about that nearly killed her multiple times was coming to her aid, some of you are acting like she was going OMG SASUKE-KUN IS SOOOO HAWT I WANT HIS BABIES RIGHT NOW. this was a sakura chapter, about her finally showing her boys that shes ready to fight beside them, i saw nothing paring wise.

They even shared their first kiss. It's funny how Naruto made the same pose as in your sig.

 

I think that instead of worrying about Sakura's feelings we should focus on Naruto. Now that Sasuke is on their side he no longer has any excuses to pretend he can't pursue Sakura. We know he has feelings for her to this day, so he either gets more aggressive or he won't get her at all.

 

Naruto needs to take the initiative from here on out. He can't expect Sakura to do all the work for him. He has to show her that he's a man that can be view in a romantic light, but he won't achieve that by just playfully saying Sakura-chan all the time.

 

He needs to look at her straight in the face and tell her how much he loves her. Just like in Dragon Quest when it happened with proto-Naruto and proto-Sakura. No coward is ever gonna get the girl and I want Naruto to prove that he's no coward.

I am going to agree with Serenity Namikaze and Slextrem on this one. I think people are overreacting.

Actually, I could argue that Sakura debunked the SS scene because Naruto got jealous and Sakura says "If you two don't stop fighting each other, I'll be Hokage before any of you" in a joking manner. That's how I forsee it. If you see it like that, then yeah the SS scene is even debunked by Sakura herself.

Plus, again, we have to remember that Sasuke doesn't love Sakura. Even if Sakura still has feelings, Sasuke doesn't. So...yeah. I think Sakuera was just happy that Sasuke is actually fighting with them than against them and Team 7 is reunited.

No, see the "SS moment" is not bothering me. What is actually bothering me more is the fact how quickly people accept Sasuke being "good" again....I don't know, that fact is leaving a bad taste in my mouth. I wouldn't say it was a bad chapter, but I wanted something more from Sasuke than just accept being good again and everyone just forgiving and forgetting. Although this might just be me as we can see Shikamaru saying "I don't wanna acknowledge him."

I can't get the Psycho Sasuke out of my head. He stabbed karin, he attempted to stab Sakura, but now...it is very disappointing. I just hate Sasuke's story. I hate his character, I hate his story arcs, and I hate how undecided he is. I liked it easier when he wanted to destroy the village and get revenge. Now I don't even know what is going to happen.

I see a very predictable scene where Sasuke says "I didn't fight with you to be a team again...I want to shape the world in my own image and have them respect the name of Uchiha" and then everyone looking surprised like this was something new with only Shikamaru saying "I knew this was too good to be true."

I don't know. I like Sakura getting the power-up and the unique way to give it to her with her charging it for three years which explains who it has taken so long to gain it. (I believe it is permanent. I believe Tsunade had to do the same thing to gain hers and once you get it it is permanent)

First off, hi! Newbie here; it's great to finally find some members of the Naruto fandom who don't irrationally hate Sakura/NaruSaku.    I decided to join in after all the 630/631 excitement and I'm glad I did! Anyway...

 

Great chapter this week. I really enjoyed seeing Sakura kicking ass (LOVED that she got the forehead symbol) and I thought the ending was cute with the whole "Don't get in my way Naruto" and "Sakura-chan notice me! Notice meee!" things. Brought back memories of the good ol' days of Part 1. I definitely think there is more to Sasuke's return than meets the eye, as noted by the Juugo early on. Also loved that Madara turned the tables on Hashirama and ignored him this time around. Looking back, there honestly wasn't too much to this chapter other than Sakura development - and that's enough for me! 

 

Regarding the "SasuSaku moment" at the end, I wouldn't necessarily call it that. I took it as Sakura being surprised/happy that Sasuke came to save her. Who wouldn't be happy that their teammate rushed to their defense, particularly one that doesn't have the best track record in that department? Anyways, Kishi is going to be going back and forth on this whole paring thing to the very end: We were bound to get a SasuSaku moment and there will be more to come (from all major pairings).

 

And as usual, Youtube is whining about Sakura. She's recognized as possibly being more powerful than the Hokage (by a former Hokage, no less) and yet people still call her useless and want her to die.   Oh well, haters gonna hate. And once NaruSaku is officially endgame it'll be 100x worse 

 

Wouldn't surprise me at all if next chapter Kishi turns the focus to Kakashi and Obito. Hopefully it won't be all dialogue we've seen before.

H&E chapter threads = handful of people start worrying on a miniscule detail on opposing pairing > the whole forum replying the same thing saying not to worry.

PAIRING GOGGLES, man, PAIRING GOGGLES.  Every damn chapter's ALWAYS gotta be seen with Pairing Lens/Goggles on, whether it's for/against NS, SS, NH, whatever.

 

 

It's... tiring.

Now to discuss what went on in the chapter, I believe this rally of the allied shinobi forces is temporary. Once the Juubi reaches its final form, there will probably be nothing that they can do.

For this part, I'm actually going with Sakura in 631, and Shikamaru and Juugo in this chapter. I still don't trust this guy.

Awesome! I couldn't concentrate on my job today because I read some of the spoilers and I was itching to read the manga!!

 

So, I see Sakura has already surpassed her senpai who was with Tsunade far more longer. This goes to show how talented she is. 

 

Awesome Fantastic Beautiful  Sakura-Chaaaaaannnnnnnn!! I read it while listening to "Kokuten", one of the songs in Naruto soundtracks. It made it helluva badass moment! 

Did you guys see how fast she was!? And her attack was like a freaking missile! It was bomb!! 

 

Oh and I'm going to ignore all those "Sakura is fangirling on Sasuke" comments. Calling out your friend's name, who was distant but returned to help you, makes the scene romantic? Lol NO.

Good chapter, Sakura was badass and beautiful but I still feel all of this is an asspull the 3 years thing makes little to no sense, she should have been able to use it before but meh I will take what I get and I still hate how Sasuke is given a free pass by Naruto and Sakura even with all the crap he did to them, from my perspective the whole situation is ridiculous.

About the so called SS moment (which was nothing more than team 7 moment) I have to agree with redragon88 it's all about the bragging rights but honestly with what happened last chapter I don't think anyone is really worried about the end pairing.

Well we are in a pairing site so tis inevitable that pairing shall be discussed a lot. I just don't get people trying to calm this non-existent faction that is doubting NS. I'm still trying to find the post that was really worried about Sakura saying "Sasuke-kun".
