I still think the Great Snake Escape in the Sasuke vs Deidara is the worst.

That was pretty bad (although the Snake Wing was worse), but it didn't involve flushing character development down the potty and bailing someone out of having to justify a contrary course of action that would normally infuriate people.

Karin's forgiving Sasuke meant something.

Sasuke didn't apologize to Sakura.

This is the only thing I'm divided on. If Sasuke is seriousface about becoming Hokage then he's going to at least have to try to patch up his boo-boos. I have a feeling he may apologize to Sakura but I have a feeling it will go a LOT like this:

In fact this is EXACTLY what I see happening with Sasuke and Sakura. He'll apologize, imply a future, and she'll be like...."Yeah, no thanks." Which would be a crowning moment of awesome for Sakura! :D:D

Good point. Still, it seems most of the asspulls are on Sasuke's end or Sasuke is apart of it. We don't have asspulls with Naruto or Sakura...or at least none as so ridiculous and out there. They seem more like stretches than asspulls.

He was always like I will never lose to Sasuke... XD

I guess Karin does deserve apology out of all of them, even though they all deserve one as well, but Karin did get hit by him. She almost die because Sasuke lost his mind. So, she did deserve it. Sasuke seems like he doesn't care what anyone think of him and he is still himself. It's not like he gone soft, he just is what he is. As for the new revelation, well, I would wait after this arc ends to think about what's next. I only wonder how can he do that, but again, I would wait until this battle is over to think what's next. I'm so focused on this battle that I can't think anything but epic closure to the war.

Which reminds me, how is Kakashi/Obito going to end? They were absent in this chapter. Can Obito outlive Juubi/Madara, or we will see back and forth action?

I just couldn't quite contain it but... I really love Sakura's determined look on the last page. I couldn't help but say 'that's my girl!!!'
I don't want to expect high but I still sense/hope epicness from her. She must have been reserving something.

...and finally, after reading the manga!


Well, not much to say, honestly! You guys have expressed everything I wanted to say.

If anything, I don't wish to say anything about NH fans because 615 gave us about the same feeling that they must be experiencing now. And as a manga/shipping fan, is an unpleasant feeling that I don't wish anyone to have. Still, this is the effect of pairing wars after all.

Speaking a bit about the chapter:

-Well, Minato officially confirmed that Sakura reminds him of Kushina! This page made me laugh, because this is actually the reaction of any tsundere for her love interest. But alas, I'm probably biased by this comment. "Take care of my son.." Huh? Well, this is not canon, but I can arguably said that it is one of the best setups I've seen so far in Naruto (better then Asuma/Kurenai ). And wow... Kyuubi mode, huh? You never cease to surprise Minato.

-OK, so is it me, or the comical interaction between Hashirama/Madara was surprising. I mean, even in the anime episode, I can imagine Madara's eye twitching after Hashi says that he will take care of him later. (Ignored!!!!)

-Hmm... the seal of the red suns... where have I seen that before? Was it in the battle between the Third and Oro? I can't seem to remember well...

-OK, so Sasuke appears. I don't know what to say about him because to me, he sounds out of character. However, I do admit that if he battles Naruto for the title of Hokage, then it may be an interesting fight to watch. After all, if it becomes somehow similar to the fight between Kakashi and Obito, then it will really test Naruto's resolve.

-Another thing which I noticed, I may get slapped for this, but Sakura's reaction was not what I expected. Now, don't get me wrong. I'm glad I was wrong on this one. For a moment, I thought that memories of the past would strike Sakura's mind as he reappeared. Yet her reaction was untrustworthy, which to me, indicates that she has grown. I'm eager to see her decision and how will both Naruto and Sasuke react.

-And finally... looks like its time not only to see Team 7 in action once more, but Sakura's role as a heroine in action.

So in the end, once more, this is one of the best chapters I've seen in the manga. And from what it looks like, it might even get better. My post may not have the emotion, but you can be sure that I'm just as happy as you guys are for this chapter and for what it means.

I'm wondering if it's because he doesn't think it was wrong or because he hasn't had the chance to address it. That chapter was brimming to the edges chocked full and there wouldn't have been room for it anyway, not to mention I don't really think the timing is appropriate. I mean think about it, he obviously intends to stay in the village since he says he wants to become Hokage now so he'll have to come before whomever is in charge and stand for his crimes I would imagine which includes attempted murder on teammate. It's going to have to be addressed at one point or another.

Or if he really doesn't think it was wrong then he can kiss being Hokage goodbye. The other members of the Konoha 11 pretty much want him to bugger off it seems like. xD

I feel that he's not going to apologize maybe after he gets redeemed he said he doesnt care about what the other's think it's not just Sakura that he needs to apologize but also Naruto and the rest of the k11 and he didnt apologized only said that he doenst care about what they think he will become hokage.
Sakura's reaction wasnt the SS hint that it was expected since people were waiting for that, she was more focused on Naruto.

last week I thought now after this amazing chapter I will have to wait few more weeks to get something exciting again but Holy kitten I was wrong, THIS CHAPTER LAST WEEK'S CHAPTER WAS NTHING COMPARED TO THIS ONE. Loved everything especially the way Naruto told sasuke that I will be hokage.
Minato also comes to Narusaku shippers list now. YIPEEE!!!!
Cant wait for more Narusaku development and I am really looking forward to sakura dismissing her feelings for sasuke somehow. I pray for it so badly I really hope Narusaku happens, IT REALLY IS THE BEST!!

Although I was hoping more of Juubi Action but it seems it will soon end now(although i can sense ten tails breaking free )

Guess they forgot that when Minato's chakra was inside Naruto he could see things from inside him. Plus, if Kiba's "don't act tough in front of Hinata" or whatever comment meant NH is canon, then I don't see why this comment, from Naruto's FATHER no less, doesn't mean anything.

If he did, he wouldn't have said that Sakura was his girlfriend. He didn't even THINK about Hinata. Naruto, you heartbreaker, you.

I have always believe Sakura has gotten over Sasuke a long time ago. But if she still does have some lingering feelings for him, then those feelings will finally be resolve with these future chapters.

EDIT: funny this was the only argument VJ told me that NS couldn't be canon....yet. It surprised me a lot that he didn't denied that Naruto still loves Sakura and that probably NH is done for.
