Yup

I hope not. One of the reason's I liked Eren as a character was because of his drive. Even if it is a misguided drive I loved how it defined him, and frankly I don't think he has hit a point where that drive should be questioned yet. But that's a minor complaint. Maybe they are just going to have a scene where Mikasa gives him some "Eren you can do this, I know it baby... cause... cause.. I love you oh my God!" speech. lol

 

Who knows. I've kinda of been pessimistic lately. Besides Black Lagoon, which is on a hiatus, this is the only manga series I have left, and I'm not to trusting right now. I'll try to have some more faith though. After all the last few chapters have been good.

Really liked the chapter. I don't know how to feel tbh about this constant focus on Historia... It feels... forced to me. It's like Isayame is trying to shove down Historia our throats, telling us how much character development she has gotten. It's not that I dislike her, but she is far from being one of my favorite characters.

Eren... I personally have nothing to complain about him. I thought when luffyq1 was ranting about him again, he was getting all whiny, but he is simply wondering how strong everyone has become on their own while he is relying on a Titan's power. He even punched himself to not indulge any further in these types of thoughts.

Rod Reiss... The most disgusting Titan I've seen so far.

Well she is a Queen now. lol

 

An interesting chapter no doubt. Anyone got any opinions on the "visions" the new Queen saw after killing her father? This talk about "ancestors" seems to continue to show that the Royals have a deeper connection to the titans the even hinted at before. Any theories?

I hope Eren's panel with him beating himself shows he is no longer going to be such a pathetic cry baby in the future, I could understand why he felt like this in the cave but it's getting pretty tiresome.

My theory when it comes to the visions that Historia will have as queen, I think she's gonna be there to help support the citizens of the walls. Lets be honest when it came to the fake king and krusty as Rod Reiss they didn't give two kittens about them. They were basically like let em die they're not important at all. That's going to be one thing I can see when it comes to Historia considering with everything she's gone through. I know people have been having a problem with her character which I can understand, but this arc has centered around the Reiss and the mystery behind Eren's father (somewhat). I'm not entirely sure if this ancestry talk will be involved after this arc cause I don't get that vibe when it comes to Historia. I really don't.

 

 

However I will say that the next arc is gonna be centered around Wall Maria I can guarentee that much which means the basement mystery will most likely come into play for sure. Also I remember Isayama said he wanted to end the manga at Volume 20 back in 2013. At the time I could say yes, but we're currently on Volume 17 there are still two chapters left (69 and 70) until it's finished. so I don't see the story ending in 3 more volumes, that would just feel rushed. At best if it comes to predictions,  I'm going to go on a whim and say either Volume 25 or Volume 30 is where the series will end that's my guess. Reason why I say that is because things are slowly like really slowly starting to wrap up.

Well on page 41 the top image seems to be of Historia's father as a boy yelling at his own father, about how they must all kill the titans asap. Then their is a picture of her father on her knees crying into a maids apron, I'm assuming that's Historia's mother... maybe the day she was conceived? Then it's her sister saying "I'm not going to let any ghost of our ancestors get the best of me". Then someone dead... maybe the King's wife, maybe his father? Finally we have Historia's sister saying "Alma your the only one who understands me." her sister obviously has just gotten done being a titan.

 

... Who the hell is Alma? lol Can someone remind me?

Well, that's even less of an excuse then lol

I guess I'm just partial to a certain type of ruler, such as King Nefertari from One Piece. He was kind, benevolent, gracious, wise, and had authority. Historia is just arrogant, and she constantly comes off as a kitten. She's someone you would hate to be under. I hope yer act changes. Or she just might become the first character I dislike in this series.
