Sorry, I'm a little confused with the bolded. You're saying that I'm telling something illegitimate? I'm not following.
Not wanting Sasuke to have a family is the moral line you impose on him, but that's your own. Kishimoto might not agree with you on it, he could, but I'm not sure if that's what he wants given how he wants us to feel sorry for Sasuke.
The point is the moral line is the one the author establishes. It's ok for you to disagree with the decision but at least I hope you understand why such a decision is made in the first place. It's not that the author doesn't care about the implications it can have on the audience, it's that the author might just think that given the fictional nature of the work that it might not be judged in the same level as it would in real life.
You called it an "excuse" when I said I did not like SK because of him nearly killing her. Labeling something an "excuse" by it's very nature tends to delegitimatize it. That's usually the purpose of calling it an excuse.
I know why he did what he did. I do not disagree with what took place, but I would dislike it if SK got together later on precisely because of that scene. And also because I just don't like Team Not Seven. I keep using that moniker precisely because I hate them. All three of them. I've explained at length in other threads why that is.
Who said I did not want Sasuke to have a family? You are reading things that are not there. I do not want him to start one with KARIN. I don't have an inherent problem with him getting together with those he does not have THAT kind of baggage with. At that point it would depend on the how and why as to whether I cared or not.
As to that being me imposing a moral line on him? Yeah, I know it is. I'm not so oblivious that I cannot see that there is a good chance he will do things I will not like. I do not deny the possibility of SK, as I said. I just think the pairing sucks.
