Happens with a friend of mine all the time, and I happen to think the same way as you when you even try to explain it.
You know, I have become to think that each set of mind has its own perspective in things, and can't change their thoughts that easily. Sometimes, when you talked about something with your friend and explained a lot, and still not taking in consideration, I think it's best to let them think what they want to think and then, if something happens or something changed their mind, well, they have to know what to think and do. But, you have to be beside them XD
