1. Not NH fanservice. There was not moment there. Naruto showed no affection towards Hinata. Anti-NH if anything.

2. Stupid that Naruto didn't understand why she was upset. CyberConnect obviously forgot the Pain Arc.

Is it me or does this really downplay her as a love interest for Naruto, like a legit romance partner? I don't know, it really makes me feel like that's her character: to be on the same level as Naruto. Yes, there's a misunderstood as Naruto didn't play along and just brush it easy, but it's funny, because he did bring up Pain Arc but not confession. Why I get the feeling that we overplaying this pairing? Yes, Hinata does love Naruto but it's not enough to qualify a real love. It's like how a lot of shy girl loves the main character because of one specific trait, whether his charms, abilities, etc. I don't mind this one at all. It was nice direction. I wonder how many side mission there are. In fact, where's a Sakura one? I want to see what they did for her with Naruto.

I don't really care if we have moments. Same with the anime. Who cares about the pointless fanservice? It may be "cute" for a month at the best, but then you have to realize it doesn't help your pairing at all. For example, episode 235. Funny how their comment section is statements like "Naruto is clueless to girls" and stuff like that. More like forgot the confession. I am starting to think the idea of NH is only a fan service thought and something for fans to write fan fiction on. But, that's it. It feels like the intention is about her being on the same level with Naruto, while Naruto is being like the guy who is like a role model to him. It's like I have this writer as my role model because I want to be great like him. I'm inspired and all, so one day, he comes to me and tell me that I have the talent and can become a great writer or even pass him. That's the impression I get here. She can still love him but it's not going to change Naruto in the slightest bit. For some reason, it's not far fetch as you may think. Time will tell soon in the manga.

Based on Naruto's behavior, if there was truth to that statement (like if he liked her or something), he would start freaking out and getting embarrassed. Or go to rudeness. In this situation, he was entirely calm and unphased. A lot like that moment in 613 actually.

And FoolishYoungling, I think CC2 did write him to remember the Pain Arc. Noticed Hinata said "No ... not yet". Pretty much she was implying she would like that and thinks it might happen. Naruto heard this, yet barely reacted to it. He knows she loves him in this game as well, I can tell by how he acted.

Poor Hinata though lol. Naruto practically did friendzone her right there. In the manga, he likely indirectly friendzones her but not here.

my game might come early tomorrow so after i beat the main story ill start off my side missions with sakura that is if there is any i don't think cc2 would be that biased with the characters and the fanservice

Their playing the whole "Naruto's oblivious" thing if you had noticed from the last video with Hinata, Sakura and Ino. He's acting like part 1 before she confessed.

Honestly, Kishi is known to skip out the reactions/thoughts from side characters in endings. For example, in Pain Invasion Arc, Naruto went to ask Hinata if she's ok. Second, the toad dude was dead but now, he's back, but why no Naruto's reaction to him. When the ending happened, it was mainly on Team 7. Kakashi noted that Naruto has came so far to the point he's now a hero. Sakura is played as a close girl who shows great potential for her becoming his girlfriend. Hug scene wasn't needed and let's be honest, it's true, but Kishi decided to do so to demonstrate the development and of course, tease of what it is yet to come.

Say the war does have an ending. Let's say Obito really do the revival part to many or at least Neji. Don't be surprised that he doesn't go down there and have a good talk. I can bet it will be Kakashi thanking Naruto to move on to the future as Sakura, well, that's a surprise remain to be seen.

One last note. I noticed Tobi don't really have a special. It reminds me that the next time we go to battle, we will definitely see a boss battle. Yes, He fought already but think about it. He never truly fight until his mask broken. It's like an action adventure boss battle, there's different stages. They finally passed the invisible stage. Now he's exposed, so now he's going all out offense. I thought "well he may suck at fighting" but the flashback suggests that he's really that good. Pretty much the next game will have his own special move. So yeah, next battle will be the interesting part. As long as side characters don't interrupt.

I still believe the next set will be Sai and Sakura, along with Kakashi and Naruto. I feel that K9 has done their part. Quite frankly, when you think about it, the formation doesn't have any K9, if they do go with that plan. I do believe the next volume after the flashback will be a long battle with Obito and maybe Madara, though I feel like he will get sideline until Sasuke, which might be for a while. It's hard to say, but time will tell.

Last time going off-topic, since this is a game thread, but please allow me to say one last thing. As much as I don't want a repeat of Pain Invasion arc, I hope at least Obito can only revive small amount of people. Now, in the first podcast, courtesy to Darkerest, I addressed that Obito is pretty much setup for a redemption, though not like "I am going to betray Madara and beat him up." More like "I am going to one good deed and then me dead." Anyway, that's not my address. The address I was getting to is that Obito is not phased by the friendship talk from Naruto. That means it didn't work in terms of redemption. So what's the next best thing? You guessed it, love.

I believe Itachi has setup the main theme of the arc for Naruto: love and friendship. Don't you think it's coincidence that Itachi happened to use Minato as a great example of becoming a Hokage? Ok, granted he is his dad, but he even mentioned Kushina, who was what Minato called, "the important person that made him Hokage." Now, noticed Hinata never address his dreams of becoming Hokage? That because that's not her character as odd that sounds. Sakura knows his biggest dream and we witnessed her desire to make sure his dream can come true. This arc is closing many things from part 1, mainly Chunnin Exam timeline. Sakura has always been defensive for Naruto. Sakura is 100% behind Naruto to achieve his goals. Was Rin like that as well? It did indicate it. Actually, now I think about it, it's no coincidence that his dream to be Hokage resurface in this arc. I wonder why.

Honestly, this is a perfect setup and if Kishi does utilize it, not only he got my forgiveness, but he will tarnished Hinata as second rate compare to Sakura. Now, we just need Sakura doing something awesome, which is in pending. Again, the last volume was about friendships and acknowledgement of them being behind Naruto. Now why Sakura wasn't included. Could she be saved for the next volume? That will soon to be determined. I know Kishi is no fool to make ObiRin too much similar to NaruSaku. There's something that he wants to address. Right now, breathe easy with these flashbacks. We going to need it.

On game note, it may disappoint, but I'm getting it because I am a gamer.
