Today is my little baby boy's first birthday, I just can't believe that time has flown so fast. I remember thinking to myself that I would never be a mother let alone a mother of two. John and had tried for a few years before we had Kaiden, and then out of no where we got little Gideon. He is the missing puzzle piece that our little family needed to be whole. He and Kaiden both bring tons of joy into our lives, and being a mother is the best thing in the world ♥ I love my boys, so very very much.

So I took this a few days ago, and I just had to share. This is Gideon and he's not in the best of moods. It's already past his nap time but I just had to capture what he does when he gets frustrated, enjoy watching my son be silly.

So I had something creepy, yet....um flattering I guess happen to me the other day. John and I took our sons out to eat for Gideon's birthday. We went to one of our favorite all you can eat Chinese places since the boys can eat right away. While there I noticed that a good amount of men were staring at me, like the kind where they are still looking at you when you make eye contact with them  Anyhow I told John and his response was "well you're pretty and you got big boobs babe, just saying." Well I laughed it off cause yeah I do have big boobs and no matter what I wear they are still there, huge as ever. So then there was a table of people to the left of us eating. It was a couple and an older man that was sorta like a hippy. Anyhow they left and the older man was the last to leave the table. He walked pass John and suddenly he stopped, as if he forgot something. He then reached into his pocket took out his cellphone and took a picture of me  I was speechless, I just sat there in silence for a few moments. Finally I told John and he busted out laughing. It was funny but then creepy because god knows what he'll do with that picture  but yeah that was one hell of an experience lol!!!

Anyways, your sons names are Gideon and Kaiden and by the way, super cool. Like if they were drafted to join some sort of secret organization of bad*ssery, it would be because of those steller names. Gosh, I just really like those names

Yeah its one of those things that I still can't believe happened to me XD but hey I guess it makes a good story. Anyhow thanks so much, I'm glad you like my kiddos names. I always wanted to name them something different and epic. So with Kaiden we came really close to naming him Logan (From X-men) Link (From Zelda) and Luke (of course Star Wars) but John was being really picky, every name I had a name I liked he didn't think it fit. Finally we were watching a movie on TV where the Hero was from space and he lands on a planet where the inhabitants are like vikings. I totally forgot the name but the hero has to help a village fight off a monster whose kind took over his planet. This guy was just all kinds of bad ass, and his name was Kaiden XD As soon as John said "hey I like that name" I made it official. After Kaiden was born we decided that he could be called Kai for short if he wanted. A few months later Dragon Ball Z Kai came out and that series is what got John and I talking in the first place, back in high school, so yeah his name was meant for him!

 

Gideon is actually named after a character from two of my favorite authors. They are Douglas Preston and Lincoln child and together they are writing a series that follows an amazing man named Gideon Crew. He's a con man mixed with a special agent who is a specialist at disguise and cat burglary. He's an amazing character and I was still reading the book when Gideon was born. Later on I was amazed to learn that Gideon's description looks wise matches my little Gideon perfectly XD

That is insanely so cute to know how well these names worked out for you and your sons. All I know is if I ever had kids, I'm giving them granny and geezer names in hopes they'll grow old enough for them to be credible. Like Gertrude or Edmund...

So then it's fathers day today so I wanted to wish all of you on here who are dads a very happy fathers day some people feel that fathers don't do as much as moms but dads do do as much as a mom just in different ways. Some dads stay at home while mom works while others work long hours at work, some even work two jobs! So to all the dads here, good job, and happy fathers day.  John is an amazing father to our boys, he was born to be a father. He lost his father when he was a teenager and I missed meeting him by just one year. Some times I wonder what he was like and how he would interact with our kids. All I know is that he did an amazing job with raising his son, because John is the best husband/father anyone could ask for.  I made this for him and posted it on his Facebook, needless to say it brought him too tears.

You know what really makes me happy, cooking. I've always had a knack for it and now that I'm older it's one of the many ways I can show my family that I love them. I cant wait until my boys are a little older because once Kaiden is 6 he's learning how to cook. So I'm writing chapter 26 of my fanfic, it's going good, but that still doesn't mean that readers aren't antsy for the next update. I kinda almost maybe killed someone, so yeah people want to know whats up. Anyhow I still get favs and follows from ppl everyday which I find amazing since my story should be pushed back page wise on FF.net Anyhow I didn't checked my email in just one day which was yesterday. I woke up this morning to find this in my email inbox. One person has reviewed every chapter of my story, meaning they just sat there for who knows how long and read all 25 of my chapters and commented on each one. There is another person who started doing this too, but they stopped reviewing at chapter 5, which I find normal because people take breaks. These two readers have taken up two whole pages in my review section, it's just mind boggling. The reviews are simple and I'm talking like two words to a simple sentence, which can get annoying when I have 25 of those but meh I like that they even took the time to do that XD Most people don't review at all. Anyhow just thought I'd share this, it really blew me away.

I figured I'd clear the dust off this blog, it's been awhile since my last entry.  So lets see where to pick up. Well for starters Kaiden is now 4 his birthday was this February and Gideon will be 2 in June.  I'm still living in my town, and I couldn't be happier. I never imagine how much I'd fall in love with Jal when we first moved here, but I have. I've grown to love the simple life, it's great being away from the hustle and bustle of the big city. I don't even care that we have to commute anywhere from 45 min to an 1hr for entertainment.

 

Anyhow in other news today is my 16 year Anniversary with my hubby John. I remember when I was so excited when we reached 1 year. We've been through so much together, and without him I wouldn't have my amazing little boys. Hopefully we'll get to have a special day together, he's still working right now. Given if we do we have no sitters so the kids we'll be with us, but that's my life now, it always just us and the boys, and I couldn't be happier ♥
