So viewership for Naruto plummets a good 60% Everyone says they aren't interested in Nardo. Barely anyone in the pre-screening. reception from everyone I hear from say they hate the movie and yet the movie is scored with a 4.5/5 whats going on?

Either pro-ending lovers posting with multiple accounts and/or having friends take a few minutes to be yes men for their posts and/or SP/Shueisha plants probably.

The movie didn't score 4.5/5. It scored less than 3 which is bad for movies. I had for a while the site for its rating but deleted it a long time ago. It was like 2.3 or 2.4, but for sure less than 3.

Tbh I can't see how NS is dead...in canon, sure but fandom? Not really 
I still see plenty of artworks from NS artists, some fanfics here and there, supporters arguing and defending the pairing past development here and there  and as Chatte said, it will eventually decay as will all of the rest of the Naruto fandom once the series is finally put to rest, but nevertheless NS will forever remain there in the hearts of the people who cared for this pairing

It certainly hasn't completely faded but it did lose support. Look at ladygt and other artists who drew ns. They completely ignore the fandom and has moved on. Even I am not as much of an ns fan as I once was.

Like you said NS hasn't completely  faded and Lady still sometimes draw NS, if it wasn't  for our haters she would stay more time.

And that is the problem if we all just pack up and live then what we are giving the NH/Hinata fans Kishi and SP just want they want us to go away.

 

And I feel as True fans we can't let that happen I measn it means we betray the real Naruto and Sakura as well the ones that are trapped right now with all the lies that Kishi and SP are telling. Yes we all hate the ending and how everyone became but if we all just leave NS it will die just like all the ones we have been fighting wants, hell they are laughing at us I bet with each day one of us goes they jump up and down saying another NS is gone.

 

AND I FOR ONE WON'T LET THEM DO IT TO ME.

 

I for one will stay I will keep doing NS fics and show I will never stop loving them as a true couple I will show how real love works and nothing, not the hater not SP. Not even Kishi kittening moneymoto will stop me.

 

If I get an NH fan bugging me I will kill the kitten off in my story to show I will not bend to what a group of sad fans want I will never, never be moved.

Here is the thing, the Arc pain is where NS is canon as pairing Ending. If you want an Open Ending and a good one 690 is the chapter.

Option 2. It's Naruto's story. He did want he always wanted, to got everyone in the village to acknowledge him. Everyone sees him as Minato and Kushina intended. And the girl that he loves, is by his side.

 

No drama, no retcons, no switching stories, no stupidity, no insults, no lies, no idiotic interviews, no messing around with the lore, no switching characters and having them go 180, no new characters, no asspulls, and none of things that are wrong with the ending that we got.

frack it, it just needs a few tweaks that doesnt affect the ultimate conclusion anyway

 

have tobi die in the deidara explosion

have no team taka

have kisame be the one to fight and capture bee

have sasuke die with itachi

 

then the pein arc starts, have pein get revenge on danzo, and have nagato revive unknown fodder. hinata and kakashi though die. tsunade goes to her coma and naruto becomes the sixth hokage. done. story over.

I'm going to regret this, but I'm rereading Naruto in Volume format from 1 to 48 on a whim: 

 

 

While rereading Chapter 1 I got to the end of the page and saw this: 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

As I keep re-reading the chapters I'm going to include more of these notes just to get the idea of where the story was going....
