Naruto carrying Sasuke I've heard is true, didn't hear about the blushing one but wouldn't be surprised at all.

Thanks.

I have one more question. Do the Japanese SNS fan care about BS being their heterosexual version of a pairing or the don't simply care for them?

You don't need to analyze anything to see that SS was never meant to happen.

Hell, even if you ignore the manga, the author himself is still saying he doesn't know whether or not SS stay together at the end of this movie. When there is absolutely no reason for them to be separate, unless the author doesn't want one near the other.

I haven't heard from it. I would go for it, but I'm dead with Naruto, so you may have to ask someone else.

If SNS fanatics love the bromance between Sauce and Nardo, I'm guessing that extends to their kids as well

Which I've told you - time and time again - is dangerous! There will never be consensus, son, among those you have helped to ascend. They will all differ in their views of what it means to be free. The peace you so desperately seek does not exist.

Out of curiosity, did SP managed to meet their minimum number of viewers with this movie?

I believe they're giving free copies of manga (2 million copies, indicating that's the minimum numbers they needed).

Journalist and media always posts about the number of viewers went to see Hayao Miyazaki's movies. However, they hardly do so with other movies...

If the numbers we discussed previous pages back are correct, seems like that wasn't the case? I might be mistaken.

As a benchmark, the dragon ball z movie had to gross USD 28.1 million, to garner 2.18 million viewers, when it airs in few weeks time (https://en.m.wikiped..._Battle_of_Gods)

Last numbers I saw had the movie at just over 19 million dollars and still short of the 2 million admissions mark. It even fell out the top ten at the box office this past week, which means it only made a couple of hundred thousand dollars more at most. I think it's run is pretty much over until it gets released overseas.

Thanks! Assuming the number is correct, let's try to derive the number of admissions based on the average ticket price.

A movie ticket in Japan costs somewhere between JPY 1000 - JPY 2000. Using the figure from DBZ movie I mentioned above, we'll get an average ticket price of JPY 1400-ish. Let's then apply this number against that USD 19 million gross, include also the exchange rate, you will then get a figure of.... roughly 1.6 million viewers --someone with calculator, please help this auntie's lousy math;)

1.6 million viewers after a month plus, and no longer in top 10. A very far number from the 2 million free/giveaway copies.

I bet they are currently thinking how to finish up the freebies;)

Don't be fooled with the top grossing claims. It is entirely pointless if you *gross* a lot, but can't even break even. They can't even give away all the freebies, let's not talk about profit...

I'm not sure who has the idea to get such amount of freebies (indicating the minimum numbers they need to meet). 2 million viewers is a lot for Naruto franchise. Even a single volume of manga didn't sold that much... And no single Naruto movie ever garners such ticket sales.

Unless of course, they needed to cover the financial lost that previous movie made (the last).

Which explains why Gaiden's plot was pointless and poorly written. Which also explain why the main canon pairings are hardly shown in the movie or in the short chapter. Not to mention the recent attempt to bait ns fans on RTN in the anime...

I hope they are still struggling to make up all the money they dumped into The last. They went all out for A romance movie, that did nothing for the overall story, besides ruin the characters, not to mention all that merchandise they created just for NH ( still can't believe they gave Hinata the gold coin, while Naruto was silver).

This latest movie was nothing, but a cash grab to try and get fans to stick with Naruto, so that they could keep pushing this crap, but Because the ending was God awful, Kishimoto will no longer be participating in Naruto, and Studio Pierrot has not an ounce of creativity, this franchise will just fade away, even if they try to keep pushing it.

The way this series ended, makes it impossible to be creative or logical, due to the fact that technology is so advanced, making ninja look like nothing, but glorified cops. While the mutant children, are just copies of their parents, bringing nothing to the table.

Hopefully, this series stops being pushed, once the anime is over.( which probably won't happen till the end of next year, based off all the filler.)

Wish that Kishi would just stop trying to 'fix' Naruto, I guess that no one ever told him the phrase 'digging your own grave'. I will remember fondly the characters that made me love Naruto that were sacrificed at the all-mighty altar that is money (and crazy fan boys/girls).

Just scrolled through your attempts to enlighten poor brainwashed fans of Kishi in that comment section. I applaud your conviction but I would just let it go at this point. We know that Kishi has torn apart the manga and canon with all the retcons he shoved into the final bits of the manga and afterwards. Now if he had had the guts to come out and say, I messed up with these parts of the manga, I could partially accept things but he has just made things worse by constantly doing it more and more often, and screwing up things even more. One must decide what they consider canon to actually be; is it the manga only (1-700), is it the manga plus the Gaidens, or what? To me, canon is the manga (1-700) plus the Sarada/Naruto Gaiden.
