In one interview Kishi was surprised that Sakura was popular in America... Most fanfiction authors favor Sakura pairing her with a crapton of guys--Sakura has more fanart and fanfiction yet Hinata's more popular in the polls.
All this "popularity" means jacksh*t. Crapmoto should've just stuck to his characters and story without regard of fans' opinions.
I don't think she is popular here. Literally the only time someone ever talks positively about her (kind of) is when they're saying she should keep her mouth shut and keep Sasuke happy.
