Yeah, I wouldn't be surprised if the whole Ash/Serena possibilities are just red herrings to get peoples' hopes up and to rekindle interest among slightly older kids into watching the series and all (after all, it may be aimed at kids, but the franchise in general has people of all ages). Make them think things just might be developing beyond the usual status quo that's been kept since the beginning...then NOPE!
 

Yeah they are I mean come on Ash have no clue on girls, well not anymore anyway I as they have made him so dense. But you know what I think I would take that over Naruto using woman as away to one up someone.

 

Plus if this was an end pairing my friend said it best why didn't the mention her before she showed up? And you have said it best they want to try to get all the old fans back I meean Pokemon is still going strong with the games and all that better than Naruto I might add lol, which is so much fun.

 

I mean we were watching it and a NaruHina fan came up and said why are you watch that kids stuff, and we just said because it dosen't do a kishi and retcon stuff.

If we don't have one already, we should have a dedicated thread that chronicles Kishimoto/Studio Pierrot kitteny since the end of Naruto. Every dumbass statement, retcon, etc. should be archived, varying versions included, so that we can present a timeline of kitten that makes it clear and undeniable how kitten this franchise has become.

All I'm going to say is I'm curious as to how they're gonna do it even though I know 100% that it's gonna suck considering Last Airbender and Dragonball Evolution.

In terms of not bringing it up, they did show that Ash himself didn't remember her, so I guess there wasn't any reason to before. Oh yeah, from what I read, they even have a slight love triangle between them too, Ash, Serena, and now Millefeui/Miette...

Ash did show attraction to a couple girls earlier on (Giselle, from Episode 9, though purely physical, and Melody in the Pokemon 2000 movie, which also further reinforced Misty as a love interest). Otherwise, they completely dropped that and made it purely Brock's routine. I remember the dub even jumping the gun with the first Pokemon soundtrack with a love song by Misty to Ash, lol.

PH was a strategic move. I'm not saying that what they did was right, but nagasaki and hiroshima was pure sadism and evil. Japan was surrending, and USA target two big civilian cities to scare russia and test their nuclear weapons. And since this is between USA and Japan, I don't understand why you'd drag Korea into this.
