Watch as the flames of vigour that once propelled this story to become one of the most renowned in the world die with the abandonment of Naruto. It was his story and the sympathetic overtones of his character that made him so compelling. This new thing conceived from the Hyuga brat is nothing but a cheap caricature intended to prolong a series that was supposed to have been fully resolved almost two months ago. Many people are disheartened from the characters and the story because of what they have become. How the author or Pierrot expect to prolong it for another 12 years is completely baffling, teetering on the edge of sheer insanity.
Yeah, this story really has become nothing more than a hollow shell of it's former glory. It's sad, but in the end I guess it's no different than any other industry. It's all about profit. This is a huge gamble, because the second that a franchise is no longer profitable, it gets dropped almost instantly.
I really don't see how they're going to keep this franchise going for another 12 years. The main series is over, the next generation is all that's left and that's only going to be a mini series. After that's done, then what? A new movie every year? I don't see how that will work, because eventually the hype will die down. Then there's the fact that a large majority of the fandom have left and have no interest in the franchise anymore, so unless Kishi and SP are able to secure a brand new audience, then they're going to have a tough time.

Score stands at 2.83. It's a slow descent that will probably level off at 2.82 before the machines, the bribed, and the deletions continue their inflation efforts.

What was 297 about ? O:
Wish we could contact the old editor & ask him what he thinks of this asspull of a mess. lol
He would probably answer: I'm just glad I wasn't part of this bullsh**.

Is it just me or did anyone else notice that Kishi seems obsessed with the whole 'enduring' concept. He came up with the idea of a little boy enduring loneliness and using this pain as motivation, another little boy silently endures the pain of seeing his parents killed before his eyes and ultimately goes crazy while still remaining 'pure at heart'
Kishi also seems to believe love is about enduring any hardships that come in the way and still managing to retain feelings for the person-- Hinata keeps on loving Naruto until he starts to notice her and Sakura....well, she's practically named after a flower that supposedly endures. According to Kishi logic, Sakura's love for Sasuke is 'true love' because she endured all sort of verbal and mental abuse from the guy and still loved him
The movie Road to Ninja confirms Kishi's obsession with 'enduring'. The movie starts off with Naruto asking ' What makes a ninja..? ' and in the end of the movie he says ' A ninja is one who endures '.
For someone who practically preached the notion of enduring difficulties and sticking to one's ideals, how ironic is it that Kishi failed in every regard to follow his own message. All the plot development, the character developments and the values they represent, the rules that were established, every moral and ideal that his story represented -- Everything was forgotten and thrown away by the same man in the end.
Kishi preached one thing and did something else entirely-- The very definition of a Hypocrite.

I always felt that if Naruto had began, when they were teens( like most shounen do) Sakura would have been way more popular. Because during the beginning of part two, Sakura was shown to be nothing but sympathetic and devoting to Naruto, as well as a kick ass ninja. So, even if they had flashbacks to when Sakura wasn't so nice to Naruto, people would have accepted her growth better, because their first impression of her was not some bratty fangirl.
I always thought Kishi's execution sucked ass, because of the way he handled, or didn't handle, his characters and settings.
Sidelining all of the rookies, then having them all gathered to talk about Sasuke, before the Kage summit, like they were all close, just did not sit well with me. He never developed other hidden villages, besides Suna, which sucked, cause I really wanted to see Orochimaru's village. Hell, Naruto's own family was never developed. We know only the basics of Uzumakis, then we know jack kitten about sealing jutsu, besides what bread crumbs we're given every now and then. Gosh, did he ever mention what the hell happened to all the Senjus?! How come Tsunade is the only one left? Was it just some kitten about Naruto being the last of his kind, that he felt it no need to comment on?All this is only a small portion of the questions one would have while reading this manga.
Kishimoto can't execute kitten to save his life, which is why once his first editor left, the series began to take a dive, starting with the child of prophecy and ending with orgy fest in Konoha.
He's mine, don't touch.

@aizen
Hinata is likeable than sakura, but I never think her popularity is justified.
I think Hinata popularity has something to do with her confenssion and kishi failure to properly develop sakura thus lead to his give up on her character.
Yes, naruto is not truly popular male character either.
Yes, sadly it's the popularity that matter.
@awes9
Just another waste potential.
@ahk
Sakura is not popular, if she's than why she lose to Hinata in the latest popularity poll? Yes, it was 4 years ago. But at that time people questioning sakura heroine status because of her confession to the point kishi need to defend her and promise to give her more heroine role.
Did he fulfill his promise? No he didn't, he demote sakura status and role.
And give Hinata another big moment.
I think you're really oversetimating Hinata's popularity in Japan, we have multiple japanese who confirmed Hinata isn't that popular in Japan and who confirmed Sakura and Neji were more popular, they had to market the movie with Naruto Sasuke and Kakashi to make these fandoms believe they would have an active part because they knew Hinata wasn't popular enough to make people see the movie, besides NS is way more popular there so I really think this whole Hinata is more popular from Kishi is just Studio pierrot crap. Either way even if Hinata was more popular it doesn't warrant to change the character's status and your whole story to try to force her onto the plot and as the main character's love interest at the end of the manga without any build up while at the same time degrading your "heroine" just to please fans because at the end it makes your story disconnected and look like an asspull (which it is). The bad reception of this movie is proof enough that Kishi isn't really aware of what his fanbase wanted, he made a gamble and I think he failed (only time will tell), he lost a great part of his fanbase not only in Japan but also in the West and I'm not talking only about NS fans far from it. Never ever use popularity to completely rewrite the manga, Kishi made an error and I think he will soon realize it.
