Exactly, I would have kept watching Naruto if they had made several mini-series like you described, Naruto making his way toward becoming Hokage, Sasuke traveling around the Elemental Countries on his redemption journey, the K11's journeys but the only way this could have worked is if they had planed these out and released teasers for them before releasing Naru...I mean Hinata: The Last and now Burrito: The Nardo Spawn. If they had done this, and followed a concrete timeline, I think even Naru/Saku shippers would have been at least accepting of the ending as this would have continued showing the development of the characters that we all grew up with.

 

Precisely. I'm sure a lot of people here would've continued to follow the story even with NH canon provided it was done right and didn't screw everything up. And I say this because I know the people here, I know that you guys and girls are rational people.

Of course you would be pissed because NS wasn't canon; I would as well. But over time you'll be ok with it because you'll still follow the same characters that you liked for all this time.

 

But no they decided to destroy everything and only keep the hardcore fans/I'm sorry to say this but the idiots who won't think just buy whatever is given to them.

I think no NS be pissed of. Just disappointing. I've lost many of the pairings that I wanted to be canon in stories I've read, but I respect the logic and build up towards those pairings. SP and SJ thought they can get away by cheated themselves out of it instead of developing NH and SS.

I'll be honest all of my main OTPS became canon prior to this: 

 

First: Kataang - ATLA

Second: Haru x Ellie - Rave Master

Third: Percebeth - Percy Jackson/ Blood of Olympus 

Fourth: Edward x Wenry - FMA

Fifth: Katniss x Peeta - Hunger Games 

Sixth: Hiccup X Astrid - How To Train To Your Dragon   

Seventh: Renton x Eureka - Eureka Seven 

 

 

Now I got to say I nailed almost ever single pairing in the romance aspect because that's where the story and the developments were telling me. The only time it didn't bug me when my OTP didn't become canon was Harry x Hermione because I felt JK Rowling did a great job between all the main pairings of her series.  NaruSaku on the otherhand made me question like how didn't they become canon? All the development and where the plot was telling me you're telling me it was all BS. Now before you guys start saying oh those moments are friendly interactions. You know what NH/SS fans you guys got what you want and it t ruined the series badly because of the death threat (if that's indeed true) and SP's infatuation with  Hinata that's whole reason why you idiots got the canon ending. Well you know what celebrate it all you want cause a good buddy of mine is  aiming to become an anime director and his first agenda is to make a Naruto movie that fixes all the problems that caused from the ending alongside THe Last, Gaiden, and the upcoming Movie. It may piss you guys off, but hey I'll take anything that'll fix the series at this point because It's become nothing but trash just like the rest of you pro-enders out there.

I want to believe it I really do like the hints are really evident, plus I feel like Pokemon in it's own sense is smarter when it comes to the characters like if you really think about it they don't OOC at all.

Well remember pokemon is a kids show and romance was never a big thing most they might do is either this.

 

1 Serena leaves and a new girl shows up to go with Ash. I see this one I see is going to happen the most, as Serena is like the 5th it will happen too.

 

2 They pick a girl but don't show her face all they do is show Ash and his child as said child goes of to get their first pokemon,

 

3 they show the girl and piss off all the shipping fans like Kishi did which lets face it can happen with Ash losing all the time.

 

4 They may never show who Ash gets with I mean I'm sorry but if it was way back with less girls then maybe it could happen but there are so many fans and a lot of them are well known as well.

Yeah, I wouldn't be surprised if the whole Ash/Serena possibilities are just red herrings to get peoples' hopes up and to rekindle interest among slightly older kids into watching the series and all (after all, it may be aimed at kids, but the franchise in general has people of all ages). Make them think things just might be developing beyond the usual status quo that's been kept since the beginning...then NOPE!
