I'm not in the Bleach fandom. I just heard it was ending and came to watch because I'm nosy.

 

I thought Ichigo was asexual....

That would be aromatic -- someone who does not experience romantic attraction. Whereas as asexual simply means a lack of sexual attraction and has nothing to do with romance.

*Sigh* Guys if I may say something? If you're disappointed in the ending then okay. If you're disappointed in the pairings, okay. However what I'm hearing is that some are complaining here about the ending, yet are bringing up that the pairings and why they don't make sense. If you're disappointed in how the ending is a rushed product of loose ends that were never resolved then good, cause I feel that way too. But I'm just saying don't bring up how you are not satisfied with Ichihime and RenjiRuki because that is not the point. THE POINT, is that they had taken up the panel time that could explained other things and resolve some plot lines. Don't bring up how both couples had terrible development and are illogical if you mean why are they bothering to show them prominently, when we could be seeing for instance what other characters are doing with their lives or how things are in Hueco Mundo or whatever. It could have easily been IchiRuki and Uryhime and it'd be the same problem, yes?
 
On the subject of pairings, I'm fine with it. I said both Ichihime and IchiRuki had development in equal sections so I'm okay with either one. How the couples were handled is NOT comparable to Naruto because neither was done willy-nilly. IchiHime DID have Orihime interact with Ichigo, and shows conversations between them and shows they care about one another for more than a for a few chapters or a few panels. Can the same argument be made about NaruHina? For those complaining about how Renji and Rukia relationship is unhealthy and abusive because of the Soul Society Arc, answer me this. Since when did Renji  PERSONALLY decide to try kill Rukia? WHEN Did Renji emotionally abuse her and made her feel small and worthless like Sasuke did to Sakura? They haven't spoken to each other for forty years? Well remember there were one hundred ten years before that, when they were best friends and knew each other since childhood. As for the the whole condemning Rukia to death thing, it could be argued that Renji had no say in it. He was not from a noble house, and he was not a captain. Therefore his words would have no sway in granting her leniency. Besides, if you are making the argument that letting her be executed as not caring about her then I guess every important person in her life is against her. I suppose Ukitake is an a-hole to her too, and Byakuya is horrible brother, because they said nothing to try pardon Rukia's execution either and they were BOTH nobles and captains to boot.
 
My whole point is, Neither couple is comparable to the toxic, sexist, trash messages NaruTARD has sent to the audience. Ichihime is not under developed, and RenjiRuki is not abusive. In fact both are perfectly healthy happy couples. Simplest proof. Both couples are (contently, may I add) together ON PANEL during the chapter at it's end. Can the same be said for Naruhina and SasuSaku? WELL? Can it? I recall Naruto was avoiding Hinata by staying cooped up in his office, eating cup ramen, drinking alcohol, and watching porn on his computer,(exaggerating I know, but still) and Sakura is taking care of her kid on top of trying to make expense ends meet by her self while Sasuke is off in lala-land. Am I wrong?

I frankly don't see the big problem with the ending? Is it just the pairings? Or the format?

 

Married with kids 10 years later is that standard A4 type of ending that's always safe to use for anything, especially if you don't know how to end your manga. I think for that ending to stay good you shouldn't use a whole chapter on it, maybe just a picture or some panels. Or else it isn't too original and not written based on the rest of the series, but it's not terrible.

 

Though I haven't payed attention to Bleach after the anime ended. I only know vaguely about the war and everything.. I wonder what happened this past year since the fandom has been so silent.

Oh the final bleach chapter is out and it's Orihime and Ichigo. Shrug. At least Ichigo's hair better then Naruto's. Chad is a boxer and Ishida is a doctor. Not sure about the boxer but meh. Oh and RukiaXRenji isn't he her vice captain?

 

Did that boy stop that quincy king from coming back?

 

It is better then Naruto ending. I want a short spin off of this. The kids look adorable.

 

My only problem with it is that nH people are going to gloat because they are going to compare IO to nH. Other then that this was a good ending they all remained friends while they went on with their lives. Unlike with Naruto where they all separated and they seemed to be stuck to when they were kids.

The final chapter has finally arrived and so far, it has been a hell of a week for this fandom. Sadly, all bad news more so than good. The spoiler was out on Wednesday and it was like I got blasted by grenade, only hearing siren, watching everyone destroying their collections, someone pick up an arm of a figurine and walk off like a solider.

I waited for the chapter release because spoiler could leave out some detail or some other parts that may be crucial to the chapter. So I waited and waited. Now, the chapter is finally out and I read it. I already have my mind set on what to say but I was going to give a chance since the chapter wasn't released yet. Now that it has, well it's time to reflect my thoughts.

Kishimoto, your crown of worst ending...hand it over.

This may be my first impression by my God, this ending is awful. Nevermind the massive plot holes left forever in the dark, the content makes no sense, phoned in morale by Aizen, AI-freaking-zen! Ywach suddenly become Obito of the Bleachverse because he wants to pull an Itachi, Saw movies, whatever, just to make us say, "Oops, we kittened up!" Why? His ending still sucks so bad. There was no real payoff, nothing felt like victory that we long desired, everything is just crap.

Once again, this series fell to the ground of showing the kids ending over the adults, but I guess that should be the case because this ending finally reflect something that needed to be addressed: these characters are lackluster and made without a set of goal. What exactly we should have been rooting for? Why does the ending feel like we have a new arc coming when it's over? Because this series has no real goal, no real end, no real reason to even continue.

The final arc is utter crap as it was completely brushed aside. What did we learn? Nothing. We got nothing out of it. Chad probably punch so many Titans he suddenly wants to be a boxer or whatever. Ishida just changed. Ichigo, well he's piss poor protagonist, so in other words, nothing has changed.

This series has the Kintama to pull a sequel hint with the introduction of the kids because that's what we need, right? More sequels for crappy popular series. Speaking of which, I guess I should address the elephant in the room: pairing. Honestly, I didn't care about any, especially how abysmal the final arc truly was; however, what bothers me is the sense of feeling on why it even happened.

Think about it. Ichigo and Orihime, fine, whatever, whoopee, 4/10 maybe lower. Renji and Rukia, why. The way how it was written was solely to be cute and make an unnecessary parallel to the first chapter with relatable characters because like Chou Chou from Boruto, you need to fill the gap with a very similar trait. In other words, this was forced to pull this stunt. I don't care who ended with who, the mere fact that this is basically the reason why we got this and I know damn well this would not be acknowledged.

If you recall Renji talking to Ichigo out of nowhere about thanking him for fixing his relationship with Rukia a couple of chapters ago? To me, that was phoned in attempt to address the audience, "Hey, I'm saying this now because I'm going to lower the WTF factor when we become a couple and that's why Ichigo and Rukia don't interact anymore or anything special, albeit just friends or more." Now it makes sense.

I kittening hate this writing tactic.

Everyone, what can I say. It's another bad series with an ending that just makes everything look atrocious. Pairings are the least problem I have because everything left in the dark, no impact, nothing. Japan is already upset by it and when Monday comes, it's going to be warzone. I'll let you know on the status when that day comes.

I'm sorry for my frustration coming out strong like the swears and all. It's just that this chapter is really bad. Again, it may be first impression and it may change overtime if this is worse than Naruto, but time will tell. It's really a hell of a achievement.

Did I like the ending? Not really, because I prefer IchiRuki pairing but do I have an issue with it? No because in all honesty since Ichigo lost his powers, the manga has always hinted allot stronger towards Ichigo and Orihime, and Rukia was nearly always seen with Renji. the clues have been there for years now, there was no such thing as a red herring or any other crap. Just look at the final Arc, it was Renji who was supporting Rukia all the way through, and it was Orihime who Ichigo asked to back him up.

 

Also if anyone even thinks for one moment that Orihime was the Hinata of the series, then they need there head examined, she's been far more useful in battles, she has saved Ichigo's life, she's fought her own battles, got stronger along the way, she cared for all her friends, and didn't abandom them to chase after Ichigo, and she was Ichigo's friend from the beginning, she didn't stalk him like some wierdo, she had her own set of friend and despite growing up alone with no family saw the positive in people, didn't act like a tradic princess.

 

There is also the point that Ichigo is still a Human being, for him to be together with Rukia, one of the other would have to make some sacrifice either Rukia would have to seal away her powers and live as a human or Ichigo would have to become a Shinigami fully.

 

My issue with the pairing is the age of the kids, this is ten years after the manga ended, and the kids both look like they are 10 years old, were Orihime and Rukia pregnent during the war? Why was Rukia's kid already a Shinigami?  that all doesn't make sense, if they planned that route they should have made the kids younger or increased the timeskip to 15 years.

 

One things for sure, if the manga continued with the two kids, I'd be OK with it, because there is no pointless melodrama that is trying to show the kids with some tragic past, infact they are happy kids like they should be, just look at Kazui, he's so cute, you can just tell by looking at him he's a curious little monkey, who gets into trouble but then acts all innocent and gets away with murder....the kids have taken the best bits of their parents, unlike a certain kid who looks like he has banana peel for for hair or another kid who looks like someone else is her mother.
