Last thing I read was Shigaraki's inner monologue and the fight between him and Deku falling, and something involving kurogiri again.

It's doing that shonen phase where they are weaving in between multiple story lines and fights at once so it's all confusing and disjointed. last chapter Toya reached AFO as the cliffhanger

I just finished catching up to the latest chapter, and I can definitely see what you're talking about.  Perhaps this might just be me, but it's giving me like early 4th great ninja war vibes.  

 

 

By that I mean, where we were hoping around all over the place before we were stuck on one part of the battlefeild with the ten tail for like 3-4 volumes (40-50 chapters).  Basically pre-Volume 66.

I don't think I've had a chance to share my thoughts on My Hero Academia Vigilantes, but that series came to an end in May, and I just have to say it was  an incredible story.  I love how very street level that story was when it came to Koichi and his inner circle be it Popstep,  Knuckleduster,  Eraser, and many other characters.   Koichi's journey was just incredible, I wouldn't say it was completely perfect, but I just can't help but appreciate what this spin off story had to offer, and also....

 

 

   the last chapter of Vigilantes ended off with this:

The only con I have is no Koichi X Kazuho (Pop) but other than that no complaints. I wish there was more because it was so good but I'm satisfied. Hopefully there is an anime of it

That was the only con I had with Vigilantes tooo was no confirmation of Koichi and Kazuho, but I'm happy to know they are still keeping in touch with one another, and how happy Kazuho was about where he was. 

 

 

I think we'lll eventually get something between Koichi and Kazuho in the future... either in the main story, or potentially a crossover movie that takes place after the main series is finished!

After Season 3, I've made it  a case to binge my hero after the season finishes, but...

 

 

 

For the Villain Hunt/ Tartarus Escapees Arc... I'll probably make an exception  cause the moment of the stuff that happened when this arc was taking place was great!

About this chapter

I am so ecstatic to see Gentle again after so long, and I love that best girl has made her way back into the series too! Kohei is really pulling all the stops with this final arc and I am really loving it!!
