Glad I return here. Guess I shall express my opinion.

Okay, let me say this. This is my only opinion. I don't think this whole pairing war should be complicated as Kishi is making out to be. Again, I see Hinata's role heavily exaggerated. She just got her needed development. That's all. Yes, I understand that she said that line from the last time we saw her. I am telling you now: this is a make it or break it. To me, it's heading to break it. I'm getting tired of that excuse with "Everyone should be paired." Okay, but what about the other side characters? Heck, I didn't know Lee still love Sakura (judging from that shocking face when Sakura confess). Ino still likes Sasuke and to be honest, I can dismiss Karin's part as well. Now that she's an Uzumaki, if Kishi needs her to be pair with anyone, then Sasuke sounds the best. Again, not saying he will be paired with, because he can stay alone. Hinata may get the focus out of the side characters, but there's always alternative for her using her feelings. Like I said earlier, she can pass the torch to Sakura if she truly realizes that Naruto loves her. That or she will talk to Naruto about his feelings for Sakura, knowing that he should confess before it's too late. Again, this is her final shot.

Now, let's look at this realistically. Why on earth Kishi make all those panels with her smiling at Naruto, as well as Naruto smiling at her. Why we need to be reminded about his feelings for her in the flashback? Why the obvious parallels? Why we needed to know how Kushina fell in love with Minato, which ended up being a parallel? Why we needed that small Shikamaru's argument about why his dad married his mom knowing that she's troublesome? Why no love support for Sasuke in his journey? Why Itachi didn't give him advice on love? Why everyone who connects to Naruto (Jiraiya) has to mention love failure (now recent Obito)? Why not connect to Sasuke? Why go over Sakura's feelings in Heaven/Earth bridge? Why leave the sentence incomplete from Yamato? Why always draw the crowd seeing the hug as romantic? Why not Hinata doing that moment to gain the momentum? Why no support on both girls? Why only support on Naruto (Jiraiya, Minato, coming soon Obito)? Why Naruto should give up on Sakura if he's not a quitter!? Why Kishi made a movie to show the bonds between Naruto/Sakura and not anyone else? Why Sakura should go with Sasuke, which would consider Sasuke's victory over Naruto, and they're rivals?

I can go with the question, but if you can answer all of them and still feel doubt on NaruSaku, well I pray the last moment of Hinata will finally calm down the storm. Oh, btw, if you really think Kishi will go down a unpredictable route, Tobi says hi. Minato also says hi. It doesn't matter about the predictability. What matters is to tell a great story. There is so many wrongs with NaruHina/SasuSaku.

This doesn't count but it does beg the question. All medias has acknowledged NaruSaku in many forms. The video games for example acknowledged the hug, but not Hinata's confession. Why is that? Maybe because, oh I don't know, it's not related to the plot. Also, they even made an extra ending to the Kage Summit Arc by having Naruto and Sakura sitting in the field, which then they proceed to walk together alone. Yes, I know, only the manga counts. BUT! This does beg the question. Why media (anime, games, etc) see NaruSaku as a final pairing if the manga could go with others? Is it because it's obvious? Do they know from Kishi himself? Won't it look awkward to see them wrong in the end? NaruHina fanservices can easily get away with this because Naruto NEVER show any romance feelings. SasuSaku stays degrading (for example, in the game, Sasuke went straight for the kill in no less than a minute). NaruSaku continues to receive the support. But again, why?

So yeah, there's my rant. I hope you have second thought. Trust me, I can't wait for this whole fiasco with Hinata ends. Once she is dealt with, it's pretty much seal. I felt like you described my last couple of posts onto a few paragraphs.

Hinata's feelings aren't being given any special focus guys. Remember, this is the arc where Kishimoto is apparently tying off and addressing the loose ends with practically all of his side characters that still have unresolved issues:

• Gaara and his parents
• Neji and his father
• Tsunade and Dan
• Kakashi and Zabuza (and now Obito/Rin)
• Sai and his brother
• Team 10 and Asuma
• Kankuro with Sasori

Hinata's feelings being focused on now in this arc is simply her loose ends being addressed, because her romantic feelings for Naruto are the only thing left for her character to resolve. She overcame her weakness and confessed to Naruto and was able to stand strong in front of him. She apparently resolved her issues with her family by the end of part one (them smiling and having tea with her right before Naruto leaves the village) given that he hasn't brought it up in regards to her since.

The fact that Naruto hasn't shown ANY romantic interest in Hinata since then just confirms this, as well as the fact that her feelings for Naruto rarely got any focus in the story before this (she got only two brief appearances in part 2, her reunion and the mission to find Itachi - where she blushed, fainted, and smiled respectively - aside from her confession; in part one, she was limited to one arc).

Her realizing on her own by observing some interaction between Naruto and Sakura (where she witnesses Naruto's feelings for Sakura for herself) that Naruto will never return her feelings because his heart already belongs to someone else, accepting it gracefully while being grateful that she was able to gain his acknowledgment and friendship, and then resolving to find her own nindo in life to follow will be sending a great message, imo. Because currently, Hinata is still basing far too much of her self worth on what Naruto thinks of her (see her initial reaction when Naruto saved her).

Of course I could be wrong and Kishi really is developing NH through this, but it really doesn't fit nearly as well as the above imo.

It is Naruto and Sakura's relationship that has gotten the lionshare of the focus and development throughout the whole story, and the only relationship with shows of non-platonic feelings from BOTH sides. Not Naruto and Hinata's. Not Sasuke and Sakura's. And that is why I have so much confidence that NaruSaku is going to be end game, because it is such a significant fact.

Great rant. I agree with everything you said . But I do have to say that some people add NaruHina fanservice in it. UNS2 and UNS3 on PS3 for example. "Secret Lovers" when Hinata and Naruto are teamed up . One of the most misleading and blatantly incorrect things they have ever done. Somehow, NaruHina fans love to count that as "proof" for their pairing when it's really just a game.

Nice rant, but as just 2 days ago I start to feel myself a little against the parallels they help the pairing a lot, but the events between Naruto and Sakura help NS a lot more. Is like what dova posted, Sai made Sakura realise how Naruto feels about Sakura then Sakura flash back on Naruto's word before he went off to find Sasuke Making her vow not to ever make another mistake then later confess. I believe that Naruto's last words to Sasuke restore her romantic not love because there is no love between her and Sasuke, but it restore her romantic aspiration to try one last time, but in chapter 540 we saw what Kishi did witch her aspiration and the love letter nin, while SS and NH see that as after all she still loves Sasuke in reality the panels was not for that specific reason since most readers after seen her behaviors and Karin's words learn that her feelings for Sasuke are still the same, that Panel was for Sakura to start evaluating that love, to see Sasuke for who is his and at the same time she will think about their history.

While I am desperate to see a NS moment to shut up NH and SS fans mouth, I understand that NS will not get a moment until Naruto and Sasuke fight. But after This currurent of before this match ends against Tobi/Madara, Naruto will hear Kakashi's story, only at that time Naruto will think about his feelings for Sakura, but there is no doubt that if Kishi made the mistake and make Sakura and everyone else arrive at that battle, Tobi will make a reference on Naruto's feelings for her or Sakura will have something to do with Tobi so her feelings for Sasuke and Naruto might be challenge by Tobi, this is hightly unlikeble since I don't believe the Rookies will arrive at this fight but is still a possibility.

So is more believable think Kakashi will be the one to tell Naruto to act on his feelings when he is about to die, if he survives after the fight with Tobi or between is fight with Tobi.

Again I'm not against the Parallels because they help NS a lot, but I reading some comments on NF and them this comment on DA about NS http://browse.devian...rusaku#/d5ed492 it made me think that he was right NS doesn't really need any parallels since it's the only pairing that depends on itself, one Panel with Naruto thinking about is feeling for Sakura and one Panel with Sakura saying that her feelings for Naruto are real and she wants to explore them more, something they will both talk about after the war and no one can say that it just happen or dispute it because it was being build up slowly through the Manga.

I've thought of that myself as well. Rival pairings love to say that relying on parallels makes a weak argument. Is that actually true ? If there were NaruHina parallels or SasuSaku parallels, they'd be saying something completely different. Ah, the power of pairing bias.

Here's the thing: don't be surprised if Kishi ignores her confidence to hold Naruto's hand. She is a side character. For God sake, he just ignore the confession. It's clear that Naruto saw her as a friend, nothing more. Her confession so far has been nothing but her showing of confidence. In other words, it wasn't meant to take it seriously. I'm not saying he will ignore it, but it can happen. She is a side character and Hinata was made for a reason that doesn't involve her to be Naruto's love interest. It's just another case of a side character loving the main character. There are a lot of manga that has this situation. In the end, if the main character has a love interest, then she will be his love in the end. Heavily effective in Shounen. Like I said, I can't wait for this fiasco to end. Plus, she can move on with someone else. I mean that should be apply to Ino and Lee too. So yeah. Think about that.

An other thing, we get bashed A LOT for using parallels as evidence, which at times CAN makes us look desperate. But counting on videogame and anime fanservices is NOT desperate..........unless we use it as evidence..............

I'm actually just joking, because we DO mock Naruhina arguments when they use fillers or fanservices, and most likely or not, they probably mock us because they believe WE rely to much on fanservices. Also, the highlighted part reminds of what I posted here. v

People have also been saying that if any of the pairings, including Narusaku, will happen now, it will be an a$$pull. Some of us will argue that Narusaku wont be that much of an a$$pull, because they already really close friends. I say it wont be an a$$pull because we already have a lot of things going for us at this point. Hell, SAKURA ALREADY CONFESSED THAT SHE LOVED NARUTO, even if she was lying that is still more than what Naruto has ever said to Hinata, or what Sasuke has ever said to Sakura. Also, the author could easily just write a scene revealing that she wasn't lying, and boom, the pairing makes sense again. Mind you, I don't think that will happen, but Kishi could easily come up with any scenario that will make the pairing naturally come back into play again, without it seemingly being an a$$pull. Hell, he has a perfect opportunity right now to make their relationship come into play again, what with Obito's relationship with Rin coming into play again in a big way. Mind you again, I don't think that will happen, at least not soon. But any of that will make so much more sense then to have Naruhina and Sasusaku happen all of a sudden, you just can't make it work as well as Narusaku. For Naruhina, he would have to show readers why Naruto will let go of his feelings for Sakura, and show how he started liking Hinata romantically. Though, then again, the current situations with Obito could show that Naruto needs to let go of his feelings for Sakura so that he wouldn't end up like Obito, but that wouldn't really give us a good reason of why he would then fall in love with Hinata. If he didn't fall in love with her after her confession (which he didn't, they wouldn't just have arc showing that Naruto has feelings for Sakura right after the arc Hinata confessed if he didn't already fall in love with her), then why would he then? For Sasusaku it is more difficult, because not only will he have to show Sasuke magically falling in love with Sakura, he would also have to go throw a probably awkward reunion between those two and show how the hell they can go through together with all the stuff that has happen between (like Sasuke abandoning the village, tried to kill her multiple times, went all coco for Coco-Puffs on her, then tried to stab her in back, AND THEN TRIED TO KILL HER AGAIN (at least the last time was in self defense............that makes it better, right?)). At least for Sasukarin he only tried to kill her once, and that was a moment of insanity (he has tried to kill Sakura when he wasn't mad). They at least shown that Sasuke's betrayal of Karin made a bigger impact on her character than the multiple times that Sasuke has tried to kill Sakura. But all Karin has to do is forgive Saskue for that one thing, that one BIG thing, for Sakura she will have to forgive Sasuke A LOT of big things. Though I'm sure, with whatever outcome that happens to Sasuke in the end, that Sakura will forgive him, but wanting to be his girlfriend............. Who knows, maybe Kishi is really trying to show us that as long a girl holds out for the guy she loves (who has done bad things to her), they will end up together because it is magic.

I just like to believe that NaruSaku, has 95% chance that it will happen is like what T 03 said the completely Naruto franchise seems so confidence that NS will happen that they keep presenting it in all form.

The other 5% I try to give it to the other pairing 4.9% for NH and 0.1% for SS, and that's because even that I cannot see how those two pairing could happen in the end I'm not Kishimoto and in some way he always focus on the two girl feeling while the overall story focus on Naruto and Sakura development, secrets, unfinished sentence, discussion wich has not been addressed yet so, Naruto and Sakura being 100% honest with each other and the parallels on there future.
NS is the only pairing that has the events from the past that has not been addressed yet.

You see I just try to sound honest and more realistic.

Nice rant, but as just 2 days ago I start to feel myself a little against the parallels they help the pairing a lot, but the events between Naruto and Sakura help NS a lot more. Is like what dova posted, Sai made Sakura realise how Naruto feels about Sakura then Sakura flash back on Naruto's word before he went off to find Sasuke Making her vow not to ever make another mistake then later confess. I believe that Naruto's last words to Sasuke restore her romantic not love because there is no love between her and Sasuke, but it restore her romantic aspiration to try one last time, but in chapter 540 we saw what Kishi did witch her aspiration and the love letter nin, while SS and NH see that as after all she still loves Sasuke in reality the panels was not for that specific reason since most readers after seen her behaviors and Karin's words learn that her feelings for Sasuke are still the same, that Panel was for Sakura to start evaluating that love, to see Sasuke for who is his and at the same time she will think about their history.

While I am desperate to see a NS moment to shut up NH and SS fans mouth, I understand that NS will not get a moment until Naruto and Sasuke fight. But after This currurent of before this match ends against Tobi/Madara, Naruto will hear Kakashi's story, only at that time Naruto will think about his feelings for Sakura, but there is no doubt that if Kishi made the mistake and make Sakura and everyone else arrive at that battle, Tobi will make a reference on Naruto's feelings for her or Sakura will have something to do with Tobi so her feelings for Sasuke and Naruto might be challenge by Tobi, this is hightly unlikeble since I don't believe the Rookies will arrive at this fight but is still a possibility.

So is more believable think Kakashi will be the one to tell Naruto to act on his feelings when he is about to die, if he survives after the fight with Tobi or between is fight with Tobi.

Again I'm not against the Parallels because they help NS a lot, but I reading some comments on NF and them this comment on DA about NS http://browse.devian...rusaku#/d5ed492 it made me think that he was right NS doesn't really need any parallels since it's the only pairing that depends on itself, one Panel with Naruto thinking about is feeling for Sakura and one Panel with Sakura saying that her feelings for Naruto are real and she wants to explore them more, something they will both talk about after the war and no one can say that it just happen or dispute it because it was being build up slowly through the Manga.

There are more games that have NaruSaku moments. PSP one (I think Accel 3), if I remember clearly, I believe Sakura was jealous at this girl who Naruto met during his training with Jiraiya. I could be wrong. The Impact game has a good amount and kept all pieces of NaruSaku in there, so you can tell that it's relevant to the plot. The first Wii in Japan ends the game with only Naruto and Sakura looking at Konoha. Reminds me of the latest movie.

I can go on with video games. I played a lot of Naruto games. I can't remember all, but I am doing my best to do so. So yeah, who reign supreme again? I don't know but it looks like NaruSaku. I didn't play that Wii game with dragons, but I heard there might be one. Oh yeah, in the 3DS, Naruto confronted Mizukage and she asked him if he has anyone he loves. He said Sakura and make a speech on one day he will confess to her when that time finally comes. Then, Mizukage got words mixed up and got mad at Naruto, which proceed to fight on. It was funny. Anyway, that's all I can say for now. I'm on a roll.

I agree it felt like the biggest missed opportunity to not have a team for Naruto and Sakura, or give us the ability to make and name our own teams, some people would probably abuse it but Im sure the majority of the fanbase would like it.

Its not a NaruSaku moment at all, but theres a great comedic moment when Naruto meets up with the girls for lunch and finds out they spend lunch complaining about all the boys in their teams, with the sole exception of Naruto, who they need to devote an entire lunchtime solely to their Naruto complaints.

Every week or so I find a new Narusaku fan service from ANY media. Either from the games, anime, movies, or even something I'm missed in the anime/manga. However, no matter how much fanservices I discover, it wouldn't matter. Cause it is filler, but if it was Naruhina or Sasusaku filler it is alright (this is one of the down sides of having not one, but TWO pairings against you). With all this, why are we even doubting this? If it wasn't for the fact that the other pairings have a huge fan bases (well, at least Naruhina), then I don't think we wouldn't be doubting this. Admittedly, mostly everyone here has complete faith (or logical sense) that Narusaku will happen, but others still give the other pairings the benefit of doubt. I'm not anymore. Even if Naruhina does happen in the end, I would take it as a twist. NOT because the arguments for Naruhina have had a point, but because Kishi wanted to misdirect everyone, and ignore all the development, and decide to go with a twist and end it with Naruhina. That's how I will see it if it happens, and, thanks to some positive feedbacks from others about that, I don't think that will EVER happen.

So the only REAL thing to worry about is that we may all just be crazy, and are just blinded by our preference. I doubt that too....................ummmm, well not 100% doubt it.

I understand how you feel. You know, back in NF, we are compiling all NS moments from games, anime, movies, etc. In fact, I should inform Paptala about this very soon. I got to remember all the moments. Anyway, stay strong. Plus the manga chapter is almost here. This is going to be exciting.

I know it was true for Karin and probably Ino but why Sakura? It made her seem like a Part 1 fangirl again and I'm still convinced she already gave up on winning Sasuke's heart by now. Aiming for Sasuke i think it was called and yeah it annoyed me too for the same reasons you gave, that it seemed to undermine Sakura's character, even Ino was kind of a bizarre one because I can't even recall her feelings for Sasuke being brought up at all in Part 2 outside of filler (I'm probably wrong but I cant think of any of the top of my head)

And UNS3/Generations was really nothing more than a quick cash grab made to give the fans something between UNS2 and when 3 comes out next year so they just ported over characters from UNS1 and 2 into the same game so thats probably why Secret Lovers is still there, I think its actually the only direct pairing team because neither NaruSaku or SasuSaku have one. And no Sakuras confession wasn't in it, there wasn't a plot to the game at all, again because it was pretty much a filler game.
