Ah yes the hero's feelings matter the most in a good story IMO.

But his feelings mattered the most in the end. Remember how he never loved Sakura in the first place and it was all just his rivalry with Sasuke? Or how his first and true love is Hinata? The Hero's feelings matter the most in this peic story. Naruto got with the one he fell in love with, Hinata hime, the great scarf lover first love

 

Everytime I think about this cluster kitten I get a headache. How doyou destroy your main character like that? How? Even money doesn't justify that kitten.

I got the feels just with the pictures... that's why I wanted to translate it so much...

Japanese fans are really really hurt... I can get it with all those fanarts... the feels oh my god...
 

 

Even in the website japanese website called pixiv i don't see a lot of ns fanarts anymore All of them seems to be gone. The only thing i saw was the last and naruto gaiden pictures with nh/ss in it.

Not at all, Phantom. I know that for a fact. And SP mostly did The Last as fan service for themselves as well as other NH nuts.

Fan service only really works depending on the situation and the execution.

The situation was horrible for it, and the execution as abysmal in this case, of course.

Minato coming back was fanservice I liked.

 

In this case...I wouldn't have minded so much if SS and NH had simply happened. I would have been a little PO'd because the fanwars and the smug attitudes from them, the idea of "losing" because of that. But aside from that. Pairings weren't essential to a good ending. I just hate how the pairing fan service took over the entire series and robbed us of a good conclusion. It wouldn't be any better if NS had been the one to do that.
