i saw their development well before they became canon. of course you and other ir will say otherwise, but who cares. 
 
also, the only advances she actually made were when ichigo was asleep, when she confessed and tried to kiss him.

No, not really. They really didn't have any. Ichigo constantly rebuffed or ignored her. One of her advances was when she put on that dress that basically left her boobs hanging out and Ichigo wasn't interested. Not to mention the fact that after the Aizen arc, he fell into depression when Rukia wasn't around. Orihime tried to get him to notice her then, but he ignored her as well.

Orihime wanting Ichigo does not equate to IH development.

Yoruichi, Rangiku, and Rukia yes. Orihime, no.

I hate that people are comparing IH to the trash pairing that is NH. IH is better than NH by far and it had development.

If you can deny the fact that there arent any comparisons between NH and IH then I dont know man. I aint got the time to explain this but its there.
