It must be pretty big stuff for the upcoming chapter! Then again, he surprised us with Midnight/Nemuri dying a while back, so with us nearing the climax, anything goes it seems!

EDIT: Whoa, you weren't kidding, Derock! Though like Chi, I'm gonna wait to see what happens.

I have to say I’m going to be highly disappointed if they are brought back magically by someone else’s quirk. Their sacrifice won’t be as impactful in my personal opinion.

Double posted here because I finally got to see the third movie on Starz (but for some glitchy reason, it aired the Japanese subbed instead of English Dubbed like it supposed to be on the options...)

 

Fight scenes were good but the plot, especially the first act was just meh. Framing Izuku as a wanted criminal because corruption was literally in the country's police's captain? That was a stupid idea from the writers. They could've written that better all because of a suitcase containing the terrorist's documents switched with the case full of jewelry and there were better ways for Izuku and Rody's interaction.

It's just reaffirming what I always thought. His quirk will make him a great hero, But he won't be the most effective fighter against most Super villains. Chisaki being a sole exception here, but anyway he can't go against absolute monsters like Gigantomachia or the like, but being a great hero as the series promoted isn't just about fighting.

 

And I second that, I look forward to the next chapter lol

Mirio also has the heart of a hero which is most important as well as his willingness to risk his life to help others, much like Izuku. He only had one small moment of weakness when he was under a lot of emotional strain near the climax of the Overhaul arc, due to his wounds fighting Kai, losing his Quirk, AND seeing Sir Nighteye getting shredded, but that would push anyone to their limit.

I don't mind if this is the last act for "My Hero Academia" if we get a time skip in a new series with global crises and all of the students as pro heroes. And  also maybe, dare I say, Extraterrestrial threats? I've affirmed this for years

I would like to see his take on the West (especially if he decides to do like an USA version, he may need to get assistance over here). If we go Extraterrestrial, we might as well say "let's go ala Marvel or DC".

I just hope we don't do a "New generation" type sequel. I am sick of those.

the main problem with new gen sequels is that they occur when the plot of the original series has long been concluded so the very concept of it would break a narrative structure already established unless it has been carefully planned which they often are not ( just milking the story for far more than it is worth). Now if Deku  were to have kids (with Ochako, no compromise there lol) MAAAAYBE one of his kids COULD be quirkless and he passes on OFA to them, despite the story establishing by all rights he will be the last inheritor. It could work but what engaging plot lines would there be? Especially if like I said they actually do a pro hero sequel first?
