@ Miss Soupy

Very interesting argument,

We can't really denied that this confession was tricky.

However, I do believe that, her expression when she said that she love him and when she hug him were sincere. She didn't have the fake smile like when she said the 'autumn skies' excuse.

For the rest, I totally agreed with you

^ Yeah, the confession was really tricky, which is why I think Sakura shouldn't have confessed at all. I have to admit I am in agreement with those that say Hinata's confession was more sincere. Though, she shouldn't have been confessing when she did either... To me every confession done so far has been done when the girl isn't honestly ready to do it. I have to wonder if Kishimoto thinks a girls life goal is to confess to a boy if he always has the girls confessing under dire circumstances XDD;;

But I do agree with what Catsi said about Sakura closing herself off from Naruto. Sai understood this as well, which is why he told Naruto she was willing to go through with her plan even if he hated her. Those that think Sakura's motivation was mostly for Sasuke are very wrong in their interpretation, because Sakura chose to speak to Naruto first. This hints that her loyalty is to him first and foremost, even if she also, in whatever way, loves Sasuke as well. Sasuke became a huge issue for her when he joined Akatsuki, and I have no doubt that this bothers her because of their role in extracting bijuu.

I think the worst thing about the confession was that if she really was in love with him, she should of at least said it to him alone, of course she loves Naruto, but I don't think she was necassarily ready to say she loved him she should have at least resolved her feelings for Sasuke; I would have found the confession more personal between the two if they were alone and if she was actually ready.

That not really the fact that she said it in front of every one that is the problem then the fact that she wasn't ready to confess. Even if they would have been alone, the result would have been the same.

She did love him, I have seen so many manga/anime confessions and comparing them to the one of our NS case... it matches in some points where anybody can tell it is completely sincere. I would say whenever she tries to convince Naruto that she loves him, she thinks the best way to erase any traces of Sasukes relationship (if there was one, which I doubt a lot) is expressing the reasons why she doesnt love Sasuke anymore (either Sakura is very unexperienced in love scenes or she is freaking nervous) instead of expressing why she loves Naruto without thinking backwards about sasukes doings.

Lets be honest here, I am not a girl but you can feel how tense a confession is (bc is normally made by the guys side) so pretty much I understand her. In a confession you dont know what to say, Sakura was ready to tell him that she loved him... but when she realized Naruto wasnt believing anything of what she was saying, she became speechless to the point of lacking valid arguments to backup her own feelings (dont get me wrong, probably she thought he wouldnt believe her, but if you know its gonna rain and you are outside with an umbrella, lightnings might happen also and you didnt foresight it at all.. at the end the umbrella may not be enough).

U know, that is something I dont get... why did she do it when they were surrounded by half of ninja-academy-shinobis who were with them almost all their students-life-time. I would be freaking embarrased...

Still, I think that she wasn't ready because she wasn't clear about her feelings, but I'm pretty sure after the, Sasuke gonna kill Sakura, Sakura gets epically saved by Naruto, that she should figure out who's always been there for her and who never tried to kill her (Okay well he almost killed her twice with Rasengan and Kyuubi but they weren't intentional obviously)

Yeah! i remember now... i didnt count it as harmfully-in-purpose though, thats why happy.gif ...
But if we need to blame it for Naruto, should be the same for Sasuke... i am counting over 4 times trying to harm/kill Sakura now

Again, I agreed.

Hinata's confession was more sincere then Sakura's confession. However, I think that, for both confession, the situation were inappropriate. For Hinata, she probably knew that she would die and that what made her unusually talkative and confident toward Naruto and that why it seem more sincere because it really not like her to do so. For Sakura, it was to prevent him for chasing after Sasuke. I think that her expression seem peaceful when she hug him and tell him why she love him, she seem comfortable confessing to him at that moment. However, compare to Hinata's, Sakura confession wasn't as much spectacular so that why, I think, most seem to think that Hinata's confession was more sincere ( and I'm one of them)

Partially, I agree with u...
But its different to hear "I love u" when you didnt experienced any human-contact but "Hi"-and-she-faints situations; than to hear "I love u" from someone who spends her time with you 24/7 and say it inappropriately...

I honestly couldn't see Hinata and Naruto together; Naruto was Hinata's inspration, but I see her more of a sister to him, even though she stalked him O_e... Eh, I say both confessions were a kind of "Good-bye" like you said Silver-chan, Hinata was ooc so she probably thought she'd die, as for Sakura she was going to go with Sasuke (To kill him) both said "I Love You" but no one said "Naruto I'm in love with you" so you can't really figure out what they mean. U_U soon, very sooni hope all SS, NH and NS issues will be resolved, as we see happening now that Sasuke pretty much almost killed (literally) SS chance, for NH obviously Naruto is out of it because we haven't seen him talk to Hinata.

Random thought: I think Kishimoto might be saving something with Hinata's confession like if he decides to go NH SS or NS. So if Naruto has a magical flashback of him and Hinata talking like "I like you as a friend but I don't love you" or something like that then NH is dead; for SS well evidence enough x) as for NS I truely don't see what could go so wrong to make it not possibily unless Sakura dies D; surely I presume NS is Kishimoto's choice but everything I just said could be completely and uderly wrong... I'm trying to understand what you try to say so, correct me if I'm wrong.

Basically, you say that it is different for Naruto to heard the 'I love you' from Hinata because, all he have been able to have with her is a shy salutation followed by a fainting spell then the 'I love you' from Sakura because, he's always around her.

Well, yes, in a way, it different. Like I said in the previous post, Naruto isn't habituated to see Hinata talkative like that around him so yes, it surprise him that a girl that he rarely see and, when he does, almost doesn't talk to him and faint, would make a shocking impression on him. However, he was as surprise when Sakura told him that she love him as Hinata's 'I love you' . The only part that his expression became more suspicious was when she told him that she didn't need for him to keep his promise and stop chasing after Sasuke.

But, in both time, when he hear the 'I love you', he reacted the same way, he was surprise.

In relating to the previous events, all i can say is, there are so many arguments used by other pairing fandoms, that can even lead to a pairing war/useless discussions. dry.gif
Example of this would be:
Accordoring to SS
A murder attempt, even 3, can be forgiven. SHE STILL LOVES HIM, after all. sleep.gif

However, Sakura lying to Naruto about her affections? BRUTAL, HORRIBLE, UNFORGIVABLE.( i thoroughly did not believe that Sakura's confession to Naruto is a LIE) sleep.gif

Sasuke attempting to kill Karin, too? IRREDEEMABLE, PSYCHOTIC, UNFORGIVABLE. dry.gif

i;ll say it again NH is a crack pairing in japan with 0% of happening.

sakurs confession was real you cant fake a blush and her reasons wernt bad i may not be the best at debateing but anyone whos not a sakura basher can see the confession was sincere.

@SS3 Goku

Again, sure she loves Naruto but is she IN love with him? Same with Hinata, they can both love him but with Hinata I don't think she could be with him because her clan, as for Sakura she's still confused about her feelings in general, it's making this whole pairing thing tricky.
I think if Naruto talked with Hinata then Sakura things could get easier (Though there's about a 0.1% chance of NH because there is no development what's-so-ever) Hmm, once Sakura gets her feelings straight there's obviously no doubt she'd choose Naruto over Sasuke, well she actually pretty much proved it like 200 chapters ago xP

First of all, NH is not a crack pairing in Japan. It has around the same popularity as NS, and I doubt you would call NS a crack pairing.

Second, you need to stop referring to those who don't agree with you or the confession as non-Sakura fans or bashers. A lot of real NS fans had issues with the confession, so stop trying to act like thinking it was anything other than sincere makes us less of a fan. It bothers me when someone talks bad about one pairing fandom blindly following a pairing when they themselves do it in their own pairing fandom.

^^ let us relax and not fight.
How bout both confessions were real, but they both were out of place for the situation I believe. NS has more chance then NH but we can't say that there a crack pairing, you have to respect others choices and just follow what Kishimoto gives us, no need to worry because he's giving us a pretty good dose of NS since the beginning. I believe that Hinata would be a good friend to Naruto, but I don't really see them together; but if Kishimoto changes his mind an decides to feed NH fans then you can't say there a crack pairing, especially since Kishimoto had Hinata confess, that has to come up sometime whatever the outcome may be. No I was never an NH fan, I'm just speaking realistically (Always been NS fan)

If Kishi does expect to develop N/H since it's been 47 chapters since her confession and Naruto hasn't even thought about her. Kishi could leave the confession hanging in the air. Just like he did with Lee's confession to Sakura at the forest of death. Sakura never gave Lee an answer and never will since it's been 400 chapters since that happened. Kishi might just do the same thing with Hinata's confession.
