That moment made my day. That said uh, well there are other things that are of personal concern for me

The comment Shoto made about Toya and wanting to have dinner with him some time gives me similar vibes to what I've been ragging on Naruto for in villains getting a lazy redemption. if it happens I hope it is done more well thought out that the trash $%!^ franchise but we'll see. toher than that I look forward to next week lol.  and Again, I hope the series "ending" means the academy phase is done but the story continues because All for One escapes Japan and starts an international conflict. that'd be so amazing to see it the story is not pushed past it's limits anyway  

 

 

Kishimoto, and who else? I'm just curious. Unless you're excluding Kishimoto then whom are the two mangaka your are referring to?

 

 

Hajime Isayama with Attack on Titan... 

 

He ended up canonizing two abusive relationships... one came out of left field  and the other was super one sided.... Think SasuSaku when it came to Sasuke at like the very last second...  This character called the other one "A Slave!"  the other pairing that came out of left feild... lets just say it dealt with an abuser and a female character and all of a sudden at the last second "Oh she was in love with him" on some stockholm syndrome...  

 

 

And much like Naruto there was a pairing that showcased genuine chemistry and breadcrumbs that I guess you can see got the NaruSaku treatment.  Which.... I'm more than positive came from editorial influence as to why the abusive relationship happened!

 

 

 it was truly disgusting! 

 

 

That's why mentioned going through with this feeling twice.... 

 

once with Naruto, and now my second with Attack on Titan

Well I'll be honest, with how messed up a lot of the cast is due to the setting, I doubt many relationships in the aftermath would be considered tasteful or wholesome, but I totally get you. But these are facts facts, Horikoshi has been going for Dechako for the longest while, so nothing short of any least second take-backs would ruing this couple too. Well hopefully. But until my heart gets broken y this too I remain hopeful

Well yeah that much is obvious for Attack on Titan, and there was gonna be some gray morals when it came to the aftermath... It's not even a matter of tasteful or wholesome... It's a matter of honesty,  trust, growth, and mutuality.  those are four traits I find when it comes to a relationship and like I said there was only 1 paring that fit that description... and just like what happened to NaruSaku it got retconned from the story all together...   But I've mentioned my piece on the matter, and gonna leave it at. Less I think about it the better.

 

 

For My Hero particular with IzuOcha  I can obviously see that Kohei has been setting it up and it shows in the story, but personally like I said before,  I don't want to get too invested only to be left down because "Oh it's not popular bs" 

 

 

again,  I think it's likely... I'm gonna bet at the absolutely minimum that it's 55% will happen and 45% that it won't cause I've been let down too many times at this point.... If for whatever reason My Hero fails... not just in terms of romance cause that's not the focus, but... the overall journey of the series than I guess that'll be it for me when it pertains to new shounen series. 

 

 

Stuff I've been reading like Black Clover... I'll make that exception....  Anyway Phantom sorry if I sound like a downer... it's just I hate being in this feeling cause I got passed this once with Naruto, and now I just feel like I'm reliving that all over again.

 

Honestly speaking,  I do want Kohei to prove to me that he's got it and as cheesy as it sounds breaks that cycle of good/great shounen series having bad endings!

Well yeah, I know man. Even I am willing to brace my self for a punch to the gut if say for instance Bakuraka happens. *throws up*     Hope for the best but expect the worst. Even Black Clover can always disappoint me in that department, But I love that recent love epiphany though lol

Hey, I had it happen to me with the original Digimon Adventure, Chi, so I can relate to how frustrating it is regarding seeing something you want to happen, but then something else happens, though at least in Digimon's case, it wasn't abusive, it just made no sense what WAS done!
