The last spark of hope I have about this was that they were referring to why they made Hinata the subject of the movie.  On that front, I think it makes sense, not just because she is a popular character with a money bucks making voice actress, but also because there's still a bit of meat left on that bone (whereas Sakura's story is mostly done.  She got Sasuke back.  What she does with him .... meh.)

 

Sakura having a fickle heart would make her a terrible person, but what about everyone else?   What about Naruto?

I could care less about nh/ss fanatics, the author himself just became one of them though this interview, and made a statement that Sakura is terrible if she moves on, but Naruto is not for same thing? Is that right?

Since Naruto is a male, and therefore superior being than a female, if he confesses to Hinata, he has the privilege of not being told, "I hate people who lie to themselves!"

Why? Because he's a male. And Hinata's a female so she should endure being with a man who doesn't love her. If she moves on "she's too terrible a woman."

I posted this in the general forum, but I definitely could imagine a scenario where we're all posting at naruhina.com instead of narusaku.com. Kishi could have done a lot to show Hinata's grow as someone who wanted to be Naruto's equal; to stand beside him, not just as a dutiful wife.

That's what I loved about NS. Sakura wanted to grow and mature and be seen as an equal to Naruto (and, yes, Sasuke). But they were equals. You never see that, really, from Hinata. He could have shown her taking over the clan; training and winning the respect of her father; working to eliminate the cage bird seal. 

And in the end, the blog post is correct; misogyny is everywhere in this manga.

I just don't understand...why spoil the movie? Why the f**king ambiguity in 700? Have NH/SS interact as a couple and have realistic looking NH/SS kids. THEN BOOM, DONE.You don't see anyone arguing over Shikadai , Inojin or Chouchou do you? NO, because we had that interaction and they all have genes from their both parents. THAT'S IT.It would have been over. Absolutely nothing from the main pairings in "the future" and you expect me to believe that was done by accident? That their kids are raised questions and who the parents reall are for nothing? The movie hasn't even come out yet! I don't believe this BS.

 

Yeah it makes no sense to me either. Especially when the movie and the series are still coming up. It's clearly not game over, but Kishimoto's out killing his characters like it is.

Early screening is on Monday. Hopefully we can be put out of our misery soon if somebody leaks something....sighh I just don't believe this....nope. So Naruto's feelings disappeared? ahahaha

yeah i don't buy it myself. i'm gonna patiently wait for the movie to come out, or at least for some hard spoilers to pop up. like during rtn.
