Seriously please stop this discussion about who among Naruto and Sakura was the culprit. It just hurts.

 

As far as I am concerned, we didn't even see the real Naruto and Sakura in 699/700. Kishimoto brutally murdered them off panel and replaced them with puppet lookalikes. 

I would be happy to stop discussing whoose to blame, if Sakura could not be thrown under the bus in all of this. I'm not going to watch people scapegoat.

I can't even believe how badly Sakura's being treated !
i mean SHE'S the heroine yet we didn't have any special episodes nor a chapter or a cover about her yet they're making a whole movie and a filler about the side character ?
This's not even funny to me right now why did they even make sakura if that how she ended up being treated and lets not even talk about screwing her development after a 15 years in just two chapters

Quite honestly this feels like one of those bad dreams and I'm just waiting to get up. The absurdity of the last two chapters makes me question Kishi's editor, a whole bunch.

The way her character was murdered makes me think back to that tweet about an interview from "Kishi's assistant" an how they basically said that "Sakura was for Sasuke's use". Makes it so much worse now.

i love the panel where she's turned around and says "see you". Get draws Sakura so well and she's consistent unlike Kishi. ... i loved it. Perfect ending!

It looks to me like she stole Sakura's style. The boots, the top design. Yep, looks like a rip off to me.

The worst part about all of this is that Kishi's succeeding to a point. Reading some of the responses from the West and Japan, Kishi's portrayal of Sakura in 699 made it so people actually hated her and then were okay with Hinata being with Naruto.

Listen, If Naruto wanted her, and he wanted to be with her he had every opportunity to SAY IT instead of looking on like a sick, kicked puppy. Sometimes acting selfish, getting jealous CAN be a good thing. Instead he takes on the messiah complex and he loses. 

Thats his own fault. We won't know how Sakura would have reacte IF he'd confessed because HE NEVER HAD THE GUMPTION TO DO IT. 

The fact of the matter is even if he confessed and Sakura refused him it would have been on her, but he didn't so its on him.
 

She knows that he loves her...She knows that Naruto suffers from loving her...and look how she acted in those two chapters: 693 and 699

Sai confesses TO HER FOR HIM presumably ages ago.
