I read that apparently, were the couple that people should feel sorry for. My response to this is laughter. The continued downplay of NS continues to kill me... With laughter.
People fail to realize how things have been playing in our favor. No matter what anyone says, this is VERY evident. I've just recently gotten very happy at the thought of Sakura siding with Naruto when it comes down to it. This will likely be different from her doing it before like at the Summit. Realizations may be made with this event. Feelings may be brought to light. I'm so excited. Like, this actually brings a smile to my face. I feel like when Sakura stands for Naruto this time around, it'll be sooooooo damn powerful. Reminscent to her standing to Obito in the movie but so much more special because this time around, it'll be for the guy she loved. The guy she chased for so long. Sakura standing for Naruto's dreams and not wanting to see it get crushed would be perfect here. Since Kishsi is bringing canon moments from Part 1, that'd be a perfect one in my opinion. Its actually funny he's still a genin. B-)
Strider, this is exactly what I said about how the fans make things harder than it needs to be, when it comes to pairings, people react in ways which are completely skewed offcourse so it basically gives them an explaination or reason why the opposition is wrong. Now as a NS website many would say "But you do the same stuff as the other fandoms, yours is right theirs is wrong" well no, that really comes down to the individual fan and if their explanation is using actual logic and evidence or if its meshed with bias and opinion. Here is what I mean:
Claims over NS being dead back in 469 and 615: Our argument? We have not seen everything for what Sakura did what she did at the time, we didn't see everything revealed towards Naruto, etc, we needed more information just to call everything dead. This is the same in 615, we had a panel with Sakura, something was up with her in that chapter, maybe jealousy or surprised at Hinata? Anyways there never was a granted moment in which Naruto felt to move on from Sakura, the land of iron came and went and he never even paid attention to Hinata even in the downtime before leaving for the turtle island, even then so far nothing has been done with the confession, only a memory of her defending him from pain and thats it, no words nothing.
Now in the other case with 631, common reaction is trying to argue that the Sakura=Kushina event is not real, misleading, a joke, etc, its simply meaningless and argued that Naruto is over Sakura despite there being no evidence prior, even then logic for his character would have him forgiving her for her actions especially after Sai told him why Sakura did what she did. As much as fans views were divided in 631, it became harder to believe most arguments after the fanbases who formerly all followed Kushina for Hinata as the parallel, either stopped following Kushina calling her wrong or stating that Sakura is a kushina who cannot work with Minato, or that Hinata is still like Minato despite no relations even being shown or hinted. The sad thing here, this is a manga for middle schoolers, Kishi used the final night of Narutos parents, the scene with Kushinas words as a foreshadow which told why Naruto did some of the things he did and what is still to come, and with the find a girl stuff, well Minato connected Sakura to Kushina, NS is not canon yet but what is canon as of now, Sakura is the only girl let alone person aside from Naruto who has ever been compared to Kushina. The fact that Sakura IS THE ONLY GIRL compared so far should be reason enough to say, perhaps there is something going on here, perhaps Sakura is that girl. Its supposed to be able for them to figure it out yet most of the older audience, its like its apparently more likely that Kakashi would get the rinnegan rather than Sakura being with Naruto in the end.
