Don't worry, no one will take it seriously.

the naruhina and SasuSaku do, and won't leave us alone with it on tumblr. Reviewers make us look bad. I'm just someone who can't pretend like I don't care.Don't worry, no one will take it seriously.

I only meant that the petition won't do diddly squat.

Actually, anti NS fans on Tumblr are just as bad as the one who started the petition. I went through some posts on the NS tag to gather their reactions, and while most of the time I saw pick-me-up messages, stuff on Shinachiku, and people generally hating the ending, I also saw many, many fans telling NS fans to "get over it" or were bashing us. Keep in mind this was all in the NS tag.
I admit, in Tumblr, the cross-tagging system needs redoing.

Could you imagine the kittenfest if it turned out that 700 took part in an alternate universe? I mean, it would explain some of the choices so much better

I think it help if you think of Naruto as a company rather than a story by now. As soon as I saw the Hinata alarm clock, it became obvious. They're going to milk this new movie for all it's worth. Be glad you're not part of the gullible crowd rushing in to see a washed-out story.
That's all that ending was. It was to prolong 'Naruto' (if you can call it that anymore). Shocking equals 'so illogical it hurts your brain to think about it.
I can tell you that any Naruto fan worth their salt will pay no heed to this poor excuse of an animation.

I sometimes wonder what this website would be like if NaruSaku did become canon. We would never know, but I'd have a feeling that it would've been one hell of a party... Sometimes I feel like SasuSaku becoming canon and a NaruHina centered movie coming out, is just some really horrible nightmare. It sure does feel like that.
It really shouldn't have happened this way.
Why do people NOT ship these two? I just don't get it.
Probably cause they hate Sakura. When she's probably the most developed female character in the whole show.
I respect Hinata, but Sakura deserves some too.

Indeed. I usually go for canon--I doubt I would've have shipped NaruSaku as much as I did if I hadn't honestly believed it was the most plausible pairing.
Before I thought NS had a chance, I found myself liking it more than NH, sure, but I wasn't nearly as into it then as I was after being more completely convinced that it made the most sense.
It still is the most plausible pairing--another pairing becoming canon doesn't change what the manga has established over many years.

Life goes on whether you choose to move on and take a chance in the unknown.
Or stay behind, locked in the past, thinking of what could have been.

I too appreciated this work but don't you think that the implications behind this are somewhat disappointing? I mean all of the potential alternate realities that are pondered in this piece also serve as reminders that they didn't happen and that it's merely something that could have been instead of something that is.

That's EXACTLY what I meant when I said that it makes me feel happy and sad at the same time. I've always loved ladygt's work this is the first one that gives me these feels though...
