But yeah, what do you guys think about Naruto meeting Sakura in a few chapters and he stops and stares at her and tells her that
she reminds him of Kushina his mother which makes Sakura blush.
I've actually imagined that scenario myself.
Just as he told Sai, Kakashi, and Yamato that he met the fourth and talked with him, he could talk to Sakura about how he met his mom, and start talking about Sakura is a lot like her. I could see Sakura smiling fondly at him for saying that, as its rather obvious that Naruto adores/loves his mother, asking him "how so?", and then blushing at Naruto's answer (which I imagine would definitely include violent, strong, and beautiful).

That sounds like Kishi not wanting one couple to get ahead, even though we now he likes them, since he's drawn them together for 350+ chapters

U think we will get more? That would be nice, but their still is at LEAST another yr and half of manga left so i doubt its anything huge. Especially after 540
Btw I just wanted to add, that at this point its foolish to believe in anything other then Narusaku, I mean we've had the most serious developments and these certain moments to me are just undeniable.
Naruto tells sai he loves Sakura, but cant tell her, just cause he cant keep his promise, (which is now over sooooo come on Naruto
Sai tells Sakura that Naruto truly loves her, she starts to get shaken up and cry
Sakura confesses to Naruto, without looking into the intentions, this is a confession and it is a main part of the story
All these moments are heavy in the romance department, their soo much more then anything else, Canon imo

And this is why I've asked myself and others around me: Why does SasuSaku and NaruHina have a bigger fan base? Are they blind to the truth or are they just to stubborn to admit that their couples really never stood a chance to begin with? The only way they stand a chance is if Kishi pulls the ultimate troll fest in the ending couples, which at that point I would lose complete faith in the writers of manga today just cause of that one stunt...

Heck yeah, Kratos rules. I watched the first four OVA episodes recently, and I definitely cheered when he made the line in my sig
Oh well, I guess I loved the Marta Lualdi character too much to call it a bad game
I agree I would lose faith in Kishi, but, from my perspective, an NH/SS ending would mean either a.) Kishi doesn't know how to write romance into shonen, or b.) he trolled NS from the very beginning. Either way, it'd be pointless to get too mad over the series itself, since it's the writer who ruined the romantic subplot with that whole mess.
As for SS/NH now, I don't think it's a big deal if they stick with their pairings. It's annoying that they still call canon at every little scene, and ignore obvious development if it contradicts their pairing, but there's nothing wrong with choosing to go down with the ship, if they like the ship enough. I'm generally a canon-shipper (I've jumped ships quite a few times in the past), but you gotta respect fans who still care enough to ship a non-canon pairing even after the series has ended.

Excellent points, but about the bold, I wouldn't be mad at the series, just Kishi. I'd respect NH/SS more if they cared to even give a good explanation as to why both couples make sense, not because Naruto and Sakura have a Bro/Sis relationship, Sakura's a B**ch to Naruto, or they just don't look good together...Thats a whole bunch of BS if you ask me. That look for every little detail to prove us wrong and look at every picture of Naruto and Hinata together to prove they are a couple(cause most NH are always SS fans, otherwise their Sakura bashers) I just get fed up with it. I'm only ok with NH if Kishi actually cared to develop Hinata, but since that will never happen, this is only a back-up as I would continue to support NS till the end of time

And another thing I like Narusaku primarily because I like Naruto, I like the way he works hard, never had anything, and lets not forget he is the main character.
People who like ss, seem to like it because they like sasuke, they think he is cooler and more of a badass which to me seems more of them having a crush or just being gay for sasuke.
And as for nh to me it seems more like pity towards hinata, who might I add isnt even a major character.

I like the romantic subplot in Naruto and I doubt Kishi's is a bad at writing romance stuff. That's why I expect NS to come true.
By the way, could it be that Hinata actually confessed to Naruto to encourage Sakura to admit her feelings? I mean Sakura would have heard about a confession eventually even if she hadn't been on the battlefield. Hinata is the kind of person who is extremely unselfish and who can cope with the fact that Naruto loves Sakura.

I don't think Hinata did it FOR Sakura, but I think it may have helped in terms of the story itself. NaruHina fans hate it when I say this, but I see Kishi using Hinata's confession for three main purposes in the overall story.
1.) Finally have her admit her feelings before relegating her back into obscurity. I mean, we can't have some girl with an undeclared crush on the hero the whole series, can we?
2.) Push Naruto to go berserk after her 'sacrifice', moving the fight along.
3.) Have Sakura notice the confession, forcing her to realize her own feelings on the subject sooner.
I think the third purpose is one of the most important. I've heard NH fans claim that Sakura would step back for Hinata to be with Naruto, but this idea has already been refuted twice. First, Sakura gave Naruto an intimate hug, in front of Hinata even, without even trying to make Naruto notice the other girl. Second, she confessed her love to Naruto in the very next arc (probably a few weeks later in manga time). Whether Sakura was lying or telling the truth at the time, it's pretty clear she didn't care about Hinata's feelings. To me, the most likely conclusion based on her actions is that she does have feelings for Naruto, and Hinata's confession finally forced her to get up and do something about it.

I agree with the third point as well. Kishi could've easily ignored having Sakura be aware of Hinata's confession and intimately contemplate about it, but he obviously put it in there (that's what she said) for a reason, and if I hear another NH/SS fan quote that as another 'platonic' development, then I will dropkick a random 5 year old on the street. Because its obvious that you have to be that young to be that naive and stubborn to keep justifying something like that.

And another thing I wanna throw in....I'm glad saskura thought of sasuke in 540 cause otherwise people would come to the conclusion that Sakura only loves Naruto because sasuke wasn't there and turned out evil. no way like everything Naruto does he is going to earn this .

That's a good way of looking at it. Yeah if she thought of Naruto we'd all probably be happy and consider ns one step closer to becoming canon but the ss and nh fans would just nag about it and say it's only by default. Though they'll nag regardless whenever ns becomes canon anyway.

They nag when Sakura was healing Hinata at 442 and she was thinking of Naruto some people said that seeing Hinata's sacrifice Sakura remember how deep her feelings for Sasuke are and yet she's clearly thinking of a smiling Naruto in that panel.

They really do try to twist the meaning of everything that happens to benefit them don't they? I give up on them
