Actually that ova isnt made by kishi or anything so its filler, unlike RTN or the uniqolo 2012 ova.

And actually sakura has never been jealous of hinata regarding naruto, since hinata has never been close to naruto anyway. The only thing sakura envies about hinata is her chest.

I just like how there are claims of NH being the endgame despite how we have a lot notion for NS, hell I don't remember when Kishi said he planned to have one case of the love returned (this was around pre or early shippuden in the manga) and well with Kushina he made that clear that Naruto is one half, a girl like Kushina would be the other half and well we have Sakura being compared to her.

 

Then there are claims of how that 631 moment did nothing for NS or somehow made it anti, to see how most of the japanese fandom remains rational with this, dear lord I wish the western fandom would do the same, but thats a pipe dream. I mean what was the translation from viz here? I don't remember the actual translation but they put in the "don't fall for the first one you see" yet they still have find someone like your mother there. That translation made NH fans jump with joy despite it not being the original dialogue from Kushina, even then now its even funnier how this stuff has been left in the book and with 631 now we have Sakura and Kushina confirmed. Many people left this starching their heads like wait so what does this scene mean? All I can say is this either the don't fall for the first one is a placeholder or just to keep the hints as low as they can think despite 631 being the big reveal to Kushinas words. All this means though is translators need to try to keep the original source stuff as best as they can, otherwise this confusion comes up, but Kushinas original dialogue in japanse or translated in the scanulations = the closest material, not the viz translations. Its clear and there is no confusion in the source material/translations for this, but for the viz translation this confusion leads to the main problem here.

I think it was ''dont go -accept? >.< the first one that comes to you'' Find someone like your mother.'' Or something like that, well they seem to forget the obvious now , dont they? The first girl that ever came to Naruto was HInata (pain fight) , the second however is... yeah is kind of sort of his gf now. ^^

Their problem is they took the parallel too serious , twisted facts (as usual ) and said kushina=hinata ( no actual similarity between them , but oh well.. )

They say its a Anti NS ,cuz Naruto=kushina and Sakura=kushina so kushikushi - it cancels out...

.. I've been ot the anti NS tag on tumblr  , good god their arguments make no .... sence. Naruto accepted her feelings and put his own (happiness) for her .. and that is what i call love..

 

Someone already mentioned that they and some SS fans will win everytime on a game of Twister.....

Then why would he mention not being able to confess to her because of the promise? The argument doesn't make sense.

I honestly think pairing war is slowly dying out because the ride has been going to obvious route. I mean the game would have been crazy if Sasuke was good at this point but it's like watching a basketball with 90-47 lead, 3 minutes left to game over. You know what's coming. I mean it's been quiet in terms of battlefield. That could be just me.

The confusion doesn't stop there. I know many people still hold on to the "missus" comment, when the real translation was "little girl". The same goes for the "You've always been by my side" moment, where the real translation was "Thank you for coming to help me"(I think someone translated it on this site), I have no idea how all mangasites got that one wrong.

 

I guess the Japanese fandom don't get confused by translations and context, so they know what couple is the real deal.

Then why does he continue asking her on dates, getting his hopes up when she tries to feed him and most of all why does he still want to confess?

I can't help but to think, they gave up. I don't know but they got one more left: 615. So yeah, I'm starting to get that impression. Maybe 166 was their last hurrah. I don't know, am I the only one get that feeling?

Well in that case I hope they did. 166 was pathetic, Xenata was pathetic. Hell, they made her stronger than Kakashi.
I'm sure editors told them cut it out with the fan service. I find it hard to believe Kishimoto didn't complain about those fillerish episodes, especially 167. It has maybe, the worst animation ever done in the anime history.

I think NS will already be canon by the time 615 comes to the anime. The series might even be over, depending on the remaining fillers.

 

Pierrot really belittled this NH moment, and even made Shino recognize Naruto when Hinata was the only one except Sakura and Shizune don't forget the epic narusakushizu moment.

 

Seriously though, even though I don't care for NH moments I wonder how hard can it be to adapt the manga correctly? I think they changed the dialogues too. Feel kinda bad for the NH fans this time.

Actually it is not, it has more Narusaku hints than anything. Yes Hinata asked Naruto on a date but you can see that he was kind of oblivious about it, plus in those scenes we see that Sakura is the only one getting angry/jealous about it. There's a point where Ino asks Hinata about naruto and Sakura steps in saying: ' I don't understand what you see in him' or something along those lines, and Ino immediately teases her asking if she's jealous and she goes all tsundere. :)

I actually liked that OVA and it's one of my favourite, they should make a spin off series, it would be hilarious :)

Well it's really old, few scenes of this special were featured in the second ending, so maybe it was up around 5 or 6 years ago.
