Today is the 7th, yeateday was the 6th. The manga ends on the 10th. We have another chapter coming out on the 10th I think.

I think the manga is not the one who influenced the most towards NS in the end, there were only a few scene that could have hinted romance like the hug, Yamato's comment and the feeding scene, but in fact the manga scene were interpretable. No the real deal, the one who made us believe in a romance between Naruto and Sakura are anime and video game. I mean why all those romantic NS scene like the flower, Shizuka, Sai making Sakura blush while saying he got her real feelings when she's mad at him badmouthing Naruto? Why making Sakura jealous over Hinata noticing it's not the real Naruto in the last UNS, why skipping Hinata's confession in almost every UNS but keeping Sakura's hug? 
No really the more I think, the more I remember romantic NS scene in anime and video game rather than the manga. I don't mean there is no real NS mments in manga, but it's just that they were really obviously romantic hints in anime and video game. 

And there are no romantic moment from the boys side from nh & ss.

But then kishi decide to give it to sakura. And that kind of thing is not only Karin exclusive. Tsunade has it too when she doesn't her lipstick(wake up from coma).

but this ain't Tsunade we talking about here. This Sakura-Chan a girl who ain't never had it at all in the manga. Not to mention they daughter look just like Karin and Sasuke. With no characteristics of Sakura-Chan at all. And Naruto's kids got Sakura-Chan's wife forehead.

It's just the count down until SJ will officially be released in Japan. Don't you remember that we read the scans illegally ?

I disagree, I always thouht anime had tone of NS in Shippuden, even more than NH. 

As for the boys not being interested in girls, the movie will explain how Naruto fall in love with Hinata as for SS I expressed my thoughts on the chapter thread, I suppose Sakura's feelings end up reaching Sasuke in the end. Though you have the right to not appreciate the ending and to think the NS development was a waste of time, I personnaly don't mind, okay I was wrong, NS was just here to keep suspense, I can accept SS/NH even if I would have prefered NS.

Guys it's the countdown for japan...not us. And it was stated that the last chapter was going to be all colour lol. And the art style is still pretty much kishi's.

LOL I don't want to be mean to you but here is a big level of denial. Just move on in life, it's over we lost. Everything doesn't go as you want and as you expect it to be in life. 

 

And yes, it was said that chapter 700 would be fully colored.

Guys I just read the last two chapter and I have to say I am utterly in awe, let me explain.

 

None of this makes sense, if Naruhina had been teased more than on a rare occasion from one party, I would understand. If Naruto, the main character had even utter some sentiment of Hinata I would understand. If in the first episode, half way through shippuden and at the end of shippuden Naruto did not mention Sakura as his love interest that maybe I would understand. It's not like I rooted for NS because I was grasping for straws or because it was something I just personally liked. No it's cause through and through, time and time again Naruto was interested in Sakura and things were heading in that direction. Essentially to reiterate my first point non of this makes sense. 

 

What did/does make sense is the following-

Naruto is supposed to accomplish everything.

Yamato unfinished sentence

POAL

Pain fight when Sakura calls for Naruto….above all else

Paralells….OMG the parallels…(non of it makes sense if it ends this way, it devaluates Obi run, Jiriya tsunade, Minato kushina

Hair color

Naruto told his own dead father that she was his girlfriend

Minato said Sakura reminded her of Kushina (clear anime tropes) 

Kushina telling Naruto to find a girl like her

 

Those things make sense, their deeply in the plot, Kishi made a concerted effort to put those in….those are not tiny contrived moments

 

And to just have Sasuke forgive (by Sakura) like that omg, what a terrible message…he tried to kill her...

Not to mention he just thru Sakura's character in the dirt by doing that…..even at the end she wanted to follow him….and why would he poke her on the forehead….he doesn't know?

 

Honestly i'm just heartbroken and not just cause it wasn't my pairing, i didn't get into pairing wars, not cause I love Sakura….its because this ruins one of the best/favorite anime…..even in the end Naruto couldn't do it all, he failed. IMO he might as well not even hokage (also his character has changed too much) 

 

So I'm let down that he failed, I had a a lot of hope, but he failed. I used always motivate myself on the fact that Naruto just pushed himself (fictional or not) I even bought the necklace he used to wear, but now its just thrash, I can't be motivated by a failure. It was ll for nothing. 

 

Also on Kishi's part, whats wrong with him? Why tease NS so much? So extensively? It's sickening. 

 

 

I was struggling with the words but this above is what I wanted to say.  Naruto the anime in particular - with the great voice actors - was an inspiration.  I really did take inspiration from Naruto and this disrespect by the mangaka for his own character(s) really does leave a bad taste.

I just have say I have really enjoyed the comments and comraderie here on Heaven and Earth.

 

I hope the website sticks around as its a great place full of logical manga/anime watchers.  A great online community.  The commentators on this and the chapter thread have helped me get through this awful, awful trolling experience.  It is a great testatment to the postives of the Internet that we can all meet here and support each other in good and bad.

 

Stay cool guys.  You all deserved better.  If I knew a real ninja assassin, I might just send him to pay the mangaka a visit.  [Claw to the face!]
