Even if NaruSaku was meant to be just a beautiful friendship, this ending ruined that. How come they didn't interact at all in the last chapters? I can't believe everyone but them got a closure!

No because Naruto deserves the best! Why get a silver medal? he deserves and as Kishi has hinted for 15 years that he should get his Gold Medal! The women he wants! It's bullcrap!

Now before I rant, I know it might sound absurd to get all hung up on fiction, but i invested so much, I loved them, I blurred the lines between fact and fiction, I know its weird but all this comes from the heart.

 

There is so much I want to say, I'm so angry, I hate it…I have to go to work, but I'll try to write down some of my thoughts, that I came up with while at the gym ( I went to the gym to blow off steam)

 

First Thought

Like previously mentioned there is no interaction between Naruto and Sakura in the last few chapters….how pathetic is that? Seriously two main characters, team seven members….they spent years, countless missions, intimidate moments together and what do we get….nothing not a single kittening word is said between them….no conclusion, no congrats, no thanks, no how are you….kittening nothing.

 

It's actually really absurd….Sakura says she wants to protect Naruto's dream, but when he's hokage does she do anything….nope, like I said before no sentimental moment of "wow he did it, that kid I grew up with, I'm so glad he's hokage"….no thanks….no congrats….its insane. It's like nothing ever happened….its like he didn't save her countless times….

I got most of my fretting out yesterday. Now Imma just be a bit bummed for a few days.

I think I'm actually going to use this disappointment as motivation for writing. If Kishi can be this bad a writer and still be popular I'm confident that with enough practice anyone can write well enough to be enjoyed. That being said if I ever write anything as absurd as that ending I hope more than just a fraction of my audience, however small or large it is in total, realises it and calls me out on it.

 

As for the ending, even if I ignore the NH and SS, we all deserved better. A 18 page epilogue right after Naruto's fight with Sasuke is just not justice.

I'm not going to hold my breath on that. Wouldn't make sense to conclude everything in the movie. But then, neither does this chapter make any sense.

That's honestly the best ending I can hope for at this point. Madara won and everyone is in infinite tsukuyomi.

Here is the thing, Naruto will be popular for a while, until a new generation sees it with his own eyes and realize...this is a new level of underhanded merchandise crap.

 

Naruto the manga will not be remembered. It will disappear in due time, there was nothing memorable about this last arcs. It is the tragic consequence of keeping it safe. Here is how I should believe the manga should have happen.

 

 

1. Pain (Not Madara, Not Obito, Not Sasuke) Should have been the final villain. A one on one battle between Naruto and Pain.

 

2. The Juubi should have taken control of the situation. For something that was so immensely powerful...It sure was pathetic to see it being controlled by lower life forms such as Madara and Obito.

 

3. I had no troubles with Naruto and Sasuke final resolve...except for this one...They were rivals, they're rivalry is what kept them progressing. They should have remained being rivals, and instead of Sasuke being the only wanderer, who has clearly abandoned his dumb wife (Sakura) with his poor kid (Salad). Naruto should have come with him, to see the world, maybe not together. But It would have felt better.

 

4. NH is canon I get it...but they should have gotten at least some closure...some resolution....something!? Instead we got a supposed movie. I heard about this theories that they are all in a genjutsu or something...but really...they are not...and this whole show will suck even more if all of a sudden they are in a genjutsu, cause it just means the writers, editors only care about one thing, and that is not to make a memorable good story.

 

5. I would have wished for some info on the Uzumaki clan...it feels like there were all these little semi arcs that just didn't existed. I am willing to bet that if those semi little arcs were pennies and you take those pennies and put them in a closet, ounce you open that closet again, your house will literally look like Smaug's chamber.

Really looks like a genjutsu, it's amazing how Kishimoto forgot 15 years of writing for 698 chapters.

Guys after trying to swallow the last 2 chapters just want to say how much I love you all, all those people who made us laugh with sarcasm and gifts, to all the translators who did their best to all those engaged to make beautiful and intelligent analysis, all those who stood in the way, we had the best bond between Sakura and Naruto with the best scenes of the manga, with the funniest moments and yet the worst ending and worst fandom enemy I've never seen, but the whole fandom NS I admire for all people who fight against the odds, with the best debates and the best arguments until Kishimoto betrayed his main characters in the last chapters without giving them even a touching moment with "thanks for all", it is curious that the most powerful and developed bond in the series finishes ignored by its own creator.

With what I'm going to stick it to the deep bond of Sakura and Naruto, every interaction, their funniest moments, its most poignant moments, I'll take all that fun, it is very interesting that we are the only paring that had a scene kiss (CPR), two hugs, had moments of intimation of appointments and constant thought of Naruto -> Sakura Sakura -> Naruto, if you think that NS was always canon in the manga do not you think it's ironic?

So keep those memories along with all the narusaku fandom that was the most fun to be here

I'll take a vacation but maybe come back, I don't know yet, but I wanted to write this.

Instead of going out with a bang, the series went out with a derp. And not just because of pairings...I could have enjoyed the chapter even with NH being canon if it was actually well written.
