Renji and Rukia is some Magi comedy writing. Keyword: comedy. Like that literally came out of nowhere since last chapter hardly match up.

This what they fail to understand that Renji and Rukia's history was already finished. They needed no more development as they were very close already. What more do you guys need? They had history already

One thing I want to know is what Kubo's next manga is gonna be? 

 

 

I mean again given his relationship with Shounen Jump, I wouldn't be surprised if he went to Kondasha. From what I hear they actually allow their mangaka to have breathing space and tell the story they want to with only some input on how things go story wise. Last I checked Hiro Mashima takes I think most of the weekend off or something like that. 

 

I think it's funny when Shounen Jump made their suggestions to Isayama about making Eren Yeagar more shounen is like Naruto, and Luffy in order for Attack on Titan to fit their standards, and he basically gave them the middle finger to say kitten you I'm going to Kondasha. Sure, It can be a shounen genre, but not every main character should be happy go lucky I mean there's a reason I like Izuku Midoriya from My Hero Academia, even though he has his moments of being happy go lucky. I think that's one of the few reasons why I liked Ichigo Kurosaki over Naruto because he was more mature.  I know some people wanna argue Naruto matured in Shippuden, but I'm sorry after the amount of times he screamed Sasuke I gave up on him. Again need I remin everyone  when he pleaded to the Raikage of forgiving Sasuke.

 

 

 

Like you whinny little kitten have some pride, I mean have Naruto tell the Raikage I'll deal with Sasuke like a man.  

 

I mean sure people wanna kitten at the fact that Ichigo cried when he lost his powers after Ginjo stole them, but I can understand that cause he felt helpless after being human again. I mean the guy who helped you feel special again is the same guy who throws you back into despair. I'm sorry to all the naysayers, but Ichigo had a far better reason to cry like a little kitten over Naruto.

No, they weren't. Renji and Rukia hadn't talked for more than 40 years until Ichigo came in, and even when that happened, Renji was getting ready to help kill Rukia. He brought her in and condemned her to death, until Ichigo beat the kitten out of him. Renji and Rukia had awful development.

Well, you can say the same thing with ichiruki because they're friend and heroxheroine.

No other character in bleach have romantic subplot like orihime.
The other either ambigue or paired just for fun.
Ichiruki and renrukia are friend, while renji may have feeling to rukia but it's ambigue like ishida may have feeling to orihime.

But they reconciled and had many more moments after that so I don't see the problem. I just realized you meant that the Soul Society arc is when Renji wanted to kill Rukia. .    That was like the 2nd or third arc. I thought it was something more recent. I can't believe ya'll are holding on to that. This is the same place that wanted to brand Orihime a threat to soul society and if it wasn't for Ichigo she would've probably be left for dead. You can't hold that over his head and Rukia clearly forgave him and her brother.

At the start of battle Ichigo throw Rukia to Renji and told him to take her away while he fend off the pursuer.

And at that panel Ichigo getting consoled by Inoue while at the same time Rukia still being carried (princess style carried) by Renji.

This is where i began to see the possibility of Renji x Rukia.

And then even near the end ... Ichigo face off against JB together with Inoue, while Rukia being with Renji at other place. Kubo did make that scenario not without a reason after all ...

IchiRuki fans here simply blind or maybe forgot, or maybe never read the all the manga from the start. And they hate IchiHime simply because it reminds them of NH .... that's just sad.

 

Edit : I don't know in the manga but in the anime Renji cried like a baby , throwing away all his pride and begged Ichigo to save Rukia, because he is powerless against Byakuya, he explain about that just before that page.

Not at first, he was really spiteful towards Rukia and smug about the fact that she was sentenced to die. It goes back to what I said about him changing after Ichigo beat the kitten out of him. That panel is after Ichigo made him look like a weak moron.

Yes, i think he already planned an escape plan, even though Rukia ready to accept her executions Renji keep coming to her cell and keep giving her courage to not give up hope, but Rukia is just expressionless. Then Renji decide to tell her about an intruder coming to save her and one of them have blonde hair with big zanpakutou, Rukia suddenly surprise and her expression become life again, that really make Renji a bit jealous. In his mind he said he never see Rukia make expression like that since very long time ago.

 

Turn out Byakuya also didn't want to kill Rukia, he thinks he has to follow rule as head of Kuchiki clan and part gotei 12, Ichigo TNJ him and make him realize he really love Rukia (as sister), that's why when Gin and Aizen attempt to kill her when they already extract hogyoku from her body, Byakuya save her from death by letting him take the stab.
