From what I've read of Kakashi's novel he actually tries to make Naruto's world more immersing and complex.

Well, he did retcon Blood Prison but I digress. I don't really care. It's meaningless as Sasuke's novel. I mean hooray for your character to get something, but nothing much to add to the world. It's not like video games novels where they add multiple dimensions to characters and explain the already established universe in a interesting way. That doesn't mean you have to rely on novels, so you let the main source do the talking. That said it's still pointless.

So Sakura finally gets an arc. So why couldn't Kishi do that in the manga? Oh yeah because she wasn't popular enough. Sorry I forgot. 

 

Also "hidden feelings"? WTF is this kitten?! We all know that she's in love with Sasuke, so what are they going to do? Are they going to make her fall in love with Naruto but then she realizes that it's not "true love" or whatever?

 

Or perhaps she is going to decide that she's somehow "not worthy" of Naruto's affection and quietly step aside so that Hinata can get with her "true love".

 

Or maybe Naruto is just going to reject her for some random fangirl...or for Hinata. Who the kitten knows at this point.
